Hi Yall

I was charging up the XV after being grounded with the Coronavirus for weeks, and noticed that the engine in Neutral would not go beyong 4000 rpm - like it had a limiter.

Is this yet another clever piece of engineering I am finding out about this clever CAR?

As far as I know that many modern cars with an auto gearbox rev limit in neutral, 4k is normally the limit.

I know the levorg has this fitted..it was commented on by a tester on YouTube so presumably it's on the xv too

My Vito 2002 has a neutral rev limiter

Just tested the XV after charging it up and it rev-limits at approx 3800 rpm in Park.
