Hi Everyone,

Just bought a 2002 Bugeye wrx estate. I am based in North London were I was born & breed.

Car details - 2002 bugeye WRX estate - silver

Having viewed many a modded dog and/or rotter before buying this one, I am now hoping I got it right.

She has 79K miles on her and appears to be completely standard apart from a baileys dump valve and a 3" Ninja Stainless cat back exhaust. Cambelt is recorded as changed with a full kit @ 63K. It has a good, clean leather interior( guessing its a UK car) with no obvious indications that she isn't all she appears.

As with all newbie requests, is there anything i should look out for???

Cheers

Hi mate welcome to S.O.C

Car sounds clean and great to me. Other than checking the service history to see if it's had regular oil changes you can normally tell if t's been abused or not looked after. But unless you have been having a problem would be hard to tell I guess. But anyway we like to see pictures if you want to share any :) And please feel free to have a look around the forums and join in all good people on here :D

Welcome along, a cple of ways to tell if it a UK car.

All the stickers are in English. On my import they were all in Japanese.

It has a factory fitted rear fog light and a factory switch. Imports don't have fog lights as standard so they will have after market ones fitted.

On the speedo cable by the exhaust if it has a block splitting the cable then it's an import, this is a gear box to change the speedo in to MPH from KPH.

There's prob more but that's all the easy ones I can think of off the top of my head. Apologies if I'm teaching granny to suck eggs.:)
