dezmond_vr6 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I obviously read that pal but unable to find anything online hence why I asked for a link.
Gambit Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Have missed something here? Dezmond wants some wind deflectors in carbon but didn't want wrapped ones so was on about hydro dipping so Pete pointed him to your cover bay parts to show him how cool it looks :D You will need to read other parts of the forum to keep up mate ;)
Pinson-89 Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 That looks good I'll be having part done when I get a impreza, an old friend of mine has started up his hydrographics dipping, if anyone's from the midlands and wants quotes I'll forward his details :) 1

Looks stunning by the way, pity you can`t drive around with the bonnet up
Boots819 ian Posted July 1, 2014 Author Posted July 1, 2014 I gave them the bare engine cover, came apart quite easy, thinking of changing the mesh to another colour, but to busy wiyh work a moment.
majik_thighs Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 I gave them the bare engine cover, came apart quite easy, thinking of changing the mesh to another colour, but to busy wiyh work a moment. Is it just held on with those top 2 clips?
Boots819 ian Posted July 12, 2014 Author Posted July 12, 2014 Yep 2 pop out on top hooked on the front takes seconds to remove, wire mesh a little fiddley , badge double sided tape
majik_thighs Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 All - righty then! I've got the stuff from eBay and I'm going to give it a go. Sent from my Superior Galaxy S 5 using Tapatalk
Boots819 ian Posted July 12, 2014 Author Posted July 12, 2014 Best of luck, I tried to do it on a galant vr4 engine cover, after the third attempt I took it to the kit supplier to do who took three attempts alright in the end, but that was 6 years ago , kits are a lot better now, prep is very important, primer and top coat very important must be clean and flawless, also water temp, I think the house bath maybe to small for engine cover, but hey good luck looking forward to see the results.
