Dogconker Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 I think looking at it I can save it as a vinyl which can then be added to a design that you have done. So if you painted your own car then you could add the SOC logo as a vinyl. Alternatively it might be the case that I just do designs for the subarus with the SOC logo on and these are shared. If people want their name on them I'll just have to share multiples. They've certainly messed up on the car painter side of things. There's little incentive for me to paint cars if there's no reward for it, not considering the time it takes. Guess I'll just be painting for club members this time. It's to do with people cheating then selling cars for silly money and spreading the wealth which affects turn 10micro transaction plan for tokens. No Tokens in the next horizons though. Gambit Posted July 9, 2014 Author Share Posted July 9, 2014 I still have the bonus tokens they gave me I refuse to use them in my little act of defiance of not buying them I won't use them :D The only thing I can think was they spent so much time getting it ready for launch they missed the things like Clubs and the paint side of it. I love the game it's amazing but I can't help but think it is more of a beta game more than a complete game. I know you can make money from designs I'm just not sure how it works I've done loads I think some a pretty good but not even received 1000 credits yet for one :( I just get a mail saying it had been used by the community I have one thats a full 5* still not unlocked any achievement :D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It all feels rather rushed and modled on a Freemium game framework. Dogconker Posted July 9, 2014 Share Posted July 9, 2014 I think lots of people will be switching to horizons, I'm Not even thinking of buying the DLC cars for this as I think it'll be a waste and I'll just be on horizons when it comes out. I might just buy the scoobs for SOC race events and so I can paint them, maybe a couple of smaller ones just to race the old F1 cars etc, but not committed to owning everything as I have been in the last 2 games. Hopefully it'll be a full game next year, this smacks of Gran Turismo Prologue to me It's really good though, cars are a bit more if a challenge, I think the races will have to allow people to use the assists they want else it'll be a nightmare, you can't drive these without TCS not easily. Simple things like the clubs and gifting cars money or a design I'd have thought would have just been a standard thing now for 5 I've bought all the car packs and stuff as I enjoy just going on and having a few laps :D I just think with it being the launch title and a new game engine they missed the important small things that we have noticed and used :( Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gameplay is like Quake mixed with halo and cod :D Once you get your head round how the game plays its a pretty good novel FPS. Basically there is no single player, after the training it's straight into multiplayer playing through the campain. You'll play the missions in order if you play from start to finish. If you leave the game, the next time you play will be a random mission on either side. Then you will play out that story line in order. So you could start the last mission on either side as your1st game, sit through the credits and then play mission 1 again. After you have played both story lines through you'll have completed the game. Then it's just replaying the missions or the different mp matches ala cod, halo and all the rest. It can take some time to complete both story arcs as you get booted back to main menu every now and then. I just thought, "yep, can't be arsed with that!", went back to Forza. Probably best to play with friends initially ?
