david1972 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Has anyone heard of or used this eBay car trader before? You can bid to buy, but the only condition to winning the auction is you turn up and have upto a full day to view and test drive the car before committing to the price you won the auction at. Having read the feedback, some decide to buy, some don't, without any fuss either way. If anyone knows of these guys or has used them or knows someone who has, I'd be very interested in your feedback. The have a couple of forester XT's ending soon; one in an hour and another later this week. Watching them with interest to see what they go for
Pommy Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Had a look and doesn't really have much info about the cars, but then again look decent prices and decent T&C's so if local could be worth a deal, seems more honest and confident than most dealers, although he is saying they are only for spares and repairs. He claims this is for legal reasons for selling with no reserve but sounds like a good way to get out of any complaints.
Gambit Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Nope never heard of them sounds like a dodgey webuyanycrap.com. But never know could be a finance company selling cars off that the original buyers not paid for.
david1972 Posted April 11, 2014 Author Posted April 11, 2014 I reckoned it's like an auction or private sale, but with the chance to spend a full day testing and checking the car over before you buy. Yes, it may result in walking away, but at no cost other than the fuel there and back. I'd still rather hear from someone who'd been before I dared risk it mind ;) Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Gambit Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Well you can walk away I would say it's worth the look :)
