And if I'm honest with you, most of the mods were on the car when I bought it. Driven loads of scoobies but this was by far the fastest, and iv drove all sorts of imprezas...

Top of my head it's got a td05 turbo, z4 ecu, up rated sti fuel pump, full straight through blitz nur spec exhaust system, bigger injectors, apexi panel filter, hks dump valve...

Lowered on blistien coilys, custom flip paint gun metal grey with glitter effect, 16" rays volks with toyo proxys all round, built in tv screen in rear, defi gauges and a lot more lol

Thanks guys, and haha yeah you Definately hear it before you see it! It's got the blitz nur spec exhaust system straight through all the way no cats or anything! Sounds amazing when it pops and bangs though haha!

If I'm honest with you I was more into my civic vtecs, and after selling my ek9 I was looking for a dc5, so I have now advertised this on eBay to see what I get for it, I think I'd be happier with a dc5 to tune and buy a classic sti wagon [emoji108]

And there was me thinking you was an alright guy :D

Take a look at the Legacies mate Tlag has a good one for sale, in the sale section. Oh and just to point out I think Honda Chav type R's are driven by X Saxo owners so please don't go that route :D

Mate civics are under rated, I had the same thinking as you until I got my hands on one! Don't get my wrong I absolutely love my impreza but a nice tuned type r is just a different driving experience, and I wouldn't think a "Saxo chav" would be able to afford a proper civic, and I'm not talking a little ep3 because I used to give them a hard time in my yaris t sport haha

My next door neighbour has one on an 04 plate I can beat them there quick but just because of the 9k RPM more than anything :)

And I also have to endure two pricks in my area with them that feel the need to thrash the living **** out of them past my house to prove they can pass a bus. What I mean by Saxo chavs is people that have grown up driving Saxos and are now old enough to step up to something a bit better, but not get the insurance for an impreza which suits me fine :)  I even tell my neighbor hes a chav and he agrees. Funny enough it turns out he owned a saxo before his renault sport then a Chav type r. For me the're fast growing on my bore off list but Audi has a massive lead, so they are pretty down my list of hating cars :D I like some Hondas though DC5 is a winner I like them I know a guy who has one very nice and clean car. And the other is the NSX a little bit like the Toyota Supra old school cars but would love to own one :)

I looked at an integra a few years back but wasn't very practical for what I needed. Ended up getting a new civic type S diesel. Oddly at the time the type S was the fastest new civic they did, until they released the type r. The new type r though does nothing for me. Had 3 civics now including the latest version, (which is a crap car, not because it's crap, it's not, it's just soooo incredibly dull to drive). My wife has had 3 CRV, we moved over to Subaru because the cars had become boring to drive and the styling was becoming very American and a bit dubious. I also needed greater ground clearance after repeatedly hitting the underside of my car getting to sites I visit. I've gone more for offtoad capability over speed now, old age and all that[emoji2]

As some of you might know I had to get an engine for a CRV and drive it up to Sunderland. I know what you mean about being dull to drive nearly 3 hours of boredom even the radio was boring to listen too with it cracking and not good signal :(

The XV's no race car, but it's an enjoyable drive and you feel like you're driving it, not then other way around. The latest civic is almost fly by wire, you press the brake pedal and it looks at how hard and how suddenly you pressed it and the car decides how to brake based in how it thinks you want to brake. That can be a bit alarming!
