!Removed! I’ve ma two to watch the morra so I’ll know exactly how ya feel 😂🤣 def a record I’d reckon mate lol but if you don’t ask you don’t know
-
Have a look in your ps fluid resivoir wi the engine running if there’s bubbles your drawing in air.
-
Sake 200 replies 😂🤣😂
-
as long as you’ve put 4.5L in it crack open a cold wan and chill you’ll get used to all this in time mate 👍

I have a blobeye saloon and it’s brilliant mate. The 2.5 reliability thing as the guys are saying is a risk but not necessarily inevitable. But if you do go for one maybe just have a fook me it’s fooked fund. As jay says though it’s easy done to swap a hawk front end onto a bug/blob I’ve seen it done and you wouldn’t know if it’s done right. My favourite version is the bugeye but after living with a blob it grows on you quickly. Legacy is a great option aswell very similar with grown up looks still a belting car.

Yeah pretty sure anything red at the front is heavily illegal. Can’t advise unfortunately I’m useless way electronics lol. Hope someone can help ye mate

Should the oil level b right on the dot or just below?
In between the L and F on your dip stick I always put 4.5L in that’s the ej20’s capacity

I was the same my first car was a polo and I had it service once in 4 year cause I really didn’t care about it 😂🤣, I garuntee if you took it to an avarage mechanic they wouldn’t fill it but you”ll see why when you do it next time it’s surprising how much it takes to fill it lol
-
Aye most guys change it every 3k on these, I check oil level ever 500 miles or so aswel, I usually do fill the filter first. Will be fine on this occasion just so it doesn’t run dry on first start but your engine should still have a coating from previous oil.
-
Pmsl at the hard hat 😂🤣, it will just sound smoother on tick over but it will keep the engine happy and clean 3,000miles to go for your next one. Good buy there way the jack 👍 canny mind did you say this car has The Prodrive pack?
-
Aye mate a combo of no history bad mechanics and corrosion. In fairness I did abuse it a bit aswell though lol. Aww you’ve caught the Scooby bug 😂🤣

I know you Lads are legends really appreciate the help honestly,
It’s cool mate I wish I had been on here asking questions before I bought my bugeye that was a disaster 😂🤣

Aye mate still looks like heatsheild I think the netting is some sorts of insulation. Best way to tell is run the engine and put so card or paper on it and if air wafts it about then it’s a leak. Obviously be careful it’s extremely hot
-
So im finally gonna be able to spend some Keesh on my wrx soon and I’m 100% now that it’s the low pressure line on my ps pump that’s leaking so that’s first. The only trouble is I’ve looked for a seal kit and the only ones I can find on ICP says bugeye only and the other says 06-14 years wtf. Is the ps pump not the same on the bug and blob anyone know?

Has your scanner arrived?

Pretty sure that's the heat shield with the hole in it. Salty roads do that. Not too bad for age. Wire brush and anti corrosion treatment all good.
Lol 😂 was just typing that
-
That’s just the heat shield your looking at mate,

By the looks of the work you’ve posted here I’d say you could make a good go of it when the times right mate.

That should be fine mate mind it’s a crush washer. If you order a oem from Import car parts next time you can choose to add washer it’s like a quid more, obviously your wanting it done ASAP this time so should be cool
-
Not sure mate maybe just get used dials from a breaker? Hopefully someone will jump in here who’s done it before. Good lucky man
-
Lol I’d def be minus 🤣😂

The police are no more than a corporation trying to make profit these days. The UK is a police state and is only getting worse unfortunately. It will be a social credit system like China before long but people will think it’s cool cause you will have a score to boast about sort of like credit rating apps

Exhaust mods and a fuel pump are probably the most cost effective. Speak to a mapper before hand aswell.
-
Just buy a decent panel filter instead standard air box is well better unless 350hp is your ballpark, then if your on a budget get an open source map should only cost about 200-250 quid. on the topic of can you replace up pipe with out map I’m not sure some say yes some say no. A good starting point is fuel pump panel filter cat back exhaust and map makes a difference. Of course decat or sports cat down pipe are options aswell. Again this is what anyone who mods/ maps Subaru’s will tell you.
