Just to add the car has covered 15k since being mapped and is fine no issues what so ever except the speeding ticket I got. I had to do a speed aware course so dodged the points.
Haha I done that course aswell was lucky enough to get caught in england scottish plod just fine you straight away 😂

Where are you in scotland mate? Exhaust fuel pump map as jay said easy 😂

No worries mate, its popular opinion that to gain anything from an induction kit you really need it mapped for it. Even so seen plenty sti’s with 350hp on standard air box with a good filter its a good design from factory.

It will be the stock springs have been swapped out for prodrive ones. Not sure how they will differ but probably slightly lower and help with body roll similar to any lowering spring kit like eibach ect..

Yeah I agree there that all the gimmicks cars come with now are un necessary but in fairness ive not really been in a new car since like 2010 lol. I dont have any desire for new anyway tried and tested has always worked for me. It is good to see so many older subarus still running I guess that means they were doing something right back then. Suppose only time will tell with there newer models.
Id say your on the button with the younger generation of drivers well most of them anyway. They only see cars are taxis basically which is fine just leaves all the older more interesting stuff to the people who really love driving.

Hi thanks for the reply, at present she is completely standard, it’s only done 31k so looking to break her in still.... but panel filter, exhaust and remap was pretty much what I was thinking too, will post pics of her on Monday when I’m back home
You should definitely get into the 300bhp region with this path man then you can decide from there whether you want a bigger turbo or what not. Consider an uprated fuel pump aswell. There are folk that say when you want to go past this stage you should look into building the motor with a 2.5 but someone with better knowledge on this era of impreza may be able to help you with that info ive only ever dealt with the 2.0L

Yeah i understand most of that bit i meant are your new ones gonna give you better adjustment options in comparison to the ones you just took off?
