Yeah Te2800 think imprezaabuser was trying to help you there 🤣🤦

Hi mate hope your enjoying your new subaru. Has it been modified at all yet? A remap and a panel filter is a great start with these cars, maybe a cat back if budget allows, all up to you really and what your willing to spend. Plenty knowledge on here though so ask away and let us see your car we love subarus here 🤣

The pcv valves are cheap for my car they are a little over a tenner from ICP probably the same for you. Ive been looking up pcv failure symptoms and it sounds to me that could be your issue. I am NOT a mechanic though so pinch of salt and all that.
Good luck mate I have a bit of vibration at idle aswell I thought it could be my crank pulley giving up on life but I too have found oil seapage around the pcv valve on the breather hoses. So im just going to replace mine and the the hose set and see its ancient on mine anyway. Taking it off and cleaning it is also an option though -
Oh yeah mate looks the business 👍
-
Could it possibly be PCV valve? Or the vibration might be a crank pulley going bad
-
Sorry make that the second thing first thing is get a picture posted lol

Hi mate and welcome first thing you should do is toss the dump valve in the bin and get the standard recirc one back on there your car will thank you

The cosworth panel filter is a good option aswell there fairly cheap considering
-
Nice one mate may be slow but its still awd enjoy. I wouldnt bother with an induction kit tbh. A decent panel filter will be better

Agree with tidgy waste of dosh mate
-
Hi mate welcome to the club.

I got a denso 02 sensor on my last wrx and it wasnt that expensive think it was from Opie Oils
-
Its no bad mate really need to get rid of as much rust as possible before applying. There are other products that are apparently better like bilt hamber ect
-
Awsome mate hope that solves it for you
-
A licenced map is like £500 i just got open source map done for £240 ive had no issues with it since
-
Hi mate even though you cleaned and treated the underside if the sils are bad enough the may still be able to tell if it feels soft or brittle. There is a facebook page called automotive repair panels who are selling impreza repair panels they might be able to make or supply one for your car

As all stuartie says mate. Cheack generally for leaks and all the usual. Most importantly is the map though if the cant prove its mapped I wouldnt bother. Cause it an sti aswell check rear diff and i think the dccd has its on casing in same area check thats not leaking. For all the general subaru stuff check daryls recent post. Everythings covered there I think
-
Looks like siluro found a solution for you but does say it dosent need a map there. Maybe cause its after the downpipe and the sensor is still in place. Your call daryl
-
My second cat is removed but mines is mapped and is mot friendly. Can you get a picture of your exhaust I know its not easy mate, maybe previous owner took your cat out?
-
That sucks mate I dont think you will need it mapped like it wont run bad or anything but not sure if you will get the cat code coming up. If its not too bad its worth asking a exhaust shop or welder to weld it up

Hi mate that information will be on your cars vin plate. Should be under the bonnet
