  1. My letter came today finally
  2. How cool is that 🤘🏼 Got an inside man on the forum 👍🏼
  3. Really that’s interesting cos I noticed before my last change it started to drink a lil bit 300ml maybe but I kinda put that down to maybe it was getting old , how old was the oil or did you notice that strait away ?
  4. Yes the Titan race is sposed to be one of the best and it comes as a 5w40 where as millers etc doesn’t it’s all 10w50 or 10w60 which is a bit thick for what I use the car imho
  5. Car goes in today for two front tyres , Uniroyal RainSport 👌🏻 Maybe not the greatest tyres but I like them 🙂 also getting my braided hoses fitted at garage just because I don’t want the mess on my drive tbh , and complimented by some motul 5.1 , just tomorrow left then to was and wax the beauty and get her in show going condition
  6. The parts pile is getting smaller slowly
  7. So started my jap fest prep the other day had loads of parts arrive lately done a full fluid change , and going in today to get brake lines done and my front tyres done
  8. Well with the weekend approaching , looks like the weather is going to be good 😬 , and looking forward to put some faces to names ,, anyone else got any track time or entering the sprint challenge ?
  9. Started my japfest prep yesterday , got full fluids from opie , consisting of Titan 5w40 Ester engine oil motul gear 300 75w90 for the gear box and diff and some motul 5.1 brake fluid and some offiacl Subaru black filters from scooby parts 🙂 changed the fluids yesterday ,and fitted my Cusco steering rack brace after a lot of swearing the bolts did finally come loose 😅 , considerably thicker than the oe unit and seems to have tightened the steering and reduced bump steer a lil bit although could be placebo .
  10. Your welcome to mine once I get new wheels , they’re in desperate need of a refurb tho
  11. Ah nice always good to know ..haha well Mexico I think that’s worth it mate enjoy 👌🏻 The master cylinder brace brace is designed to eliminate the flex in the bulkhead and in return give a sharper more responsive brake feel , also on much older cars I’ve read reports of bulkheads failing through prolonged flexing , I think sti make a spacer and longer rod to try and stop this but is very expensive .. although on the hatch and newer braces for rhd cars are hard to come by , the Perrin , grimspeed and most others are lhd only , meaning you can only import them the main two being the liale or Cusco , think the liale worked out about £5 more expensive but much preferred the gold to the Cusco blue
  12. I picked the beatrush one mainly to match in with the black / gold theme going on , think it looks ok ,, but for some reason the photos never upload in the order I want them too 🤦🏻‍♂️
  13. Got to love some Jdm goodies ✌🏻🔰 A Laile . Beatrush master cylinder brace Cusco steering rack brace and some r205 / aniversery edition black side garments / fender ornaments managed to get the cylinder brace fitted almost strait away looking at the instructions was hopeless but after looking under the bonnet for 5 mins managed to figure it out ,, but first I waxed it up to try and protect it , always worth doing and during installation I used plenty of wd and silicon spray to protect it ,, needed a socket set twitch a bendy head for intalation but got there in the end , gave me a good chance to get every thing cleaned up under the bonnet
  14. So thought I would treat her to a few lil bits from Japan parts 👌🏻
  15. Car hit 100k the other week
  16. Ah cheers man ,, hydrotek I’ve never heard of them I will have to check them out , wouldn’t mind getting a few interior bits done , as all you have to do is look and the interior trim funny and it scratched / chips ,, I quite like the look of the zunsport lower grill but contemplating changing to the 2012 front end because my front bumper is cracked in two places and just needs a respray at least 😩 more money 🙈 but hey a few more weeks past got a few more random pics trying to get better pics of the new ride hight / alignment , but I’m no photographer haha
  17. I see another scoob there was nice with ht autos arches and was really loud I liked it 😛haha also a lot of other cars but didnt really take many photos 🤦🏻‍♂️
  18. So the snow finally cleared and I did my usual run upto good wood it’s about 40 miles all through the sticks through petersfeild etc . Got there expecting to chill and take a few photos and it was rammed hope you don’t mind some non scooby pics 🙂
  19. Was a really small place just him and one ramp I think his son works there too , a family business which I like , but not really what I was expecting , in all honesty I probably won’t go back which is a shame but he did a good job and no complaints really . We achibed 2.4 front about 1.7 rear although the rear is uneven atm as the rear isn’t adjustable and we just straitened the toe out , going to get a few more parts but everything cost money unfortunately 😩 It was so so !Removed! cold don’t know if you can see the snow in the pics , and being w southerner I’m not really made for that stuff , the silver blob next to my car in the pic , not really to my taste but , an awesome build none the less , it was an rb powered rwd drift scooby and a few other scoobys lurking around , been quite a few months and I’ve deleted most the pics 🤦🏻‍♂️ But there was a Nissan garage with 4 used 17 plate gets for me to go drool over while it was getting done 😛 then the next week the beast from the east came scooby was fine tho they live for it haha And a bay shot for good measure 😉
  20. So took my car up to Tfs probably on the coldest day of the year for my alignment to be done , was a bit dissapointed we couldn’t get it exactly where I wanted it cos it could’ve taken all day , so I’m just going to wait and get the car properly corner weighed at Horsham developments or abbey motorsport in the near future a few pics from the day
  21. I’ve just been reading about this , a few guys on other forums have revived letters this week , I’ve still not received mine yet tho , looking it up on google , the srt202 recall was issued back in 2014 weird how it’s still ongoing , I’m slightly concerned I’ve not got a letter yet , I may have to call my local dealer 😕
  22. Hello mate I’ve sent you a dm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Exciting stuff 9.40 is probably the better time as hopefully not as many people will be out on track as the show doesn’t open to public till 10 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Probably not now after reading the symptoms again I think savage could be onto something with the idol control valve could also be a throttle position sensor or crank position sensor but as it’s not throwing any code. it’s obv very difficult to diagnose unless you want to start paying out for sensors I could be something as simple as a maf needs cleaning. have you got any mods like induction kit etc ?
