Looks fine mate. I would ask has it got a receipt of where it was remapped (they aren't the most simple cars to map so pays to take it somewhere well known) and was it carried out after the mods - sounds strange but I'd expect a little bit more than that after a remap on one of these. It is relatively low power though so shouldn't have had too hard a life. Apart from that just carry out the regular checks - history, rust, any odd noises especially from suspension etc. as well as what Gambit said. Also make sure to check the cambelt history. It should have had one every 40k or 5 years, so this should have had one recently.

Gutted! I'll still be going that's for sure and will be camping the weekend as long as others still are. I do think getting the payment form up earlier if possible would help for the next event we try to sort.

That is an option but they always advise you to book in advance which is what I normally do. Just won't let me this time :(. Oh well, guess I'll just try on the day then.

Haha I bet ;) Just failed at buying a RWYB ticket :( . Done it a few times in past but not during an event like this, seem to have changed the options. Anyone managed to book it? Only let's me buy a "admission" ticket with no option for RWYB, I'm confused...

From what I hear by the time it's warned you it's already too late. Plus they do give lots of false readings so you'd probably stop paying attention to it after a while. I have a gps one from a company called BTST (google it). Can update it every day from a database (they say you only need to do it weekly though) of where all fixed and mobile cameras are and will be then warns you when you're in a area/on a road with cameras or that is known for having mobile ones positioned. It's not cheap and you have to pay a subscription fee for the up to data locations (I pay £3.99 a month). But it works really well and isn't illegal. Only have to worry about unmarked cars on the road then.

Just paid :) Paying for the RWYB and not sure which day to go far as I doubt I'll get on it during Sunday with how busy it will be. Plus I like to give it a good, steady 5 mile drive (at least) up to temp before giving it the beans. Which will be a bit difficult on the Sunday. But Sunday would defo be the better experience if I can actually get on.... Edit - I've just seen I'm not even on your list gambit :( how very dare you!? You've even added Ash's mates before me you git :P

I'll be running the strip. Probably only do 2-3 runs if that through the weekend though as I don't want to blow my clutch up either but I really want to give it a good go on the strip and see what it can do as I missed out last October due to rain. Plus that was before all my work on her. Appreciate it if someone can video it for me too ;)

PROPER !Removed! OFF!! Some of you may remember me buying those headlights and finding they misted up when on the car. Ive returned them to the chap to re-do them as he said and now he's received them he's accusing me of splitting them myself and ruining them. Saying he probably can't fix them now due to the plastic being in such a bad state! The actual !Removed!! I'm proper fuming. Worst thing is I can't get my money back either due to paying by gift. Argh!!! And Dog - sorry to hear about that mate. Jesus you're having some bad luck lately! Hope there no lasting damage/pain.

Had a great morning today! Managed to sort my gauges out!!! Wooooo!!!!! Started as a process of elimination. Tried unplugging them from each other and trying one at a time to see if is just one faulty gauge. I have them daisy chained from left to right - oil temp, oil Pressure and then Turbo. I originally put my gauge supply to the oil temp and chained from that. So after unplugging them I tried in the turbo by itself worked! Linked the oil pressure in - still worked! I assumed at this point I must have a faulty a oil pressure gauge but plugged it back in just to check... BOOM!!! IT WORKS!!! For some reason putting the gauge supply into the turbo gauge first and chaining from that made them work correctly! No idea how or why but there you go, mega happy :D Haven't got a soldering iron or solder so just twisted and taped the cables for now. Will get Martin to solder them in properly for me when I next see him. One query though for people with Bug and Blob Scoobs - the red alarm/immobiliser LED on the dash. Does yours flash when the car is locked or just light up after unlocking the car? When pulling my pod back out the red light went out at the exact same time. Might be just a coincidence as it still lights up when I unlock the car until I put the key in but I'm sure it used to also flash when locked. Don't know what's happened there if it's stopped... I've also fitted my original lights back on. The other black ones will be sent back for re-sealing next week. Managed to change them without issue too! :) might not sound like much but usually when I try and do anything on car something ends up breaking or ends up taking me hours and hours when it should only be simple and take minutes. So today is a massive win haha! :D Another query though, one of my sidelights has stopped working. I tried with another lamp and it still didn't work - but it's used so I don't know if that was knackered too. But in case it isn't just the bulb anyone had this issue before? The old one did go with a pop and left burn marks around the holder lol. I thought it may be a fuse it's blown but the other is working fine.

Haha I did say I was going to buy it after the meet if I didn't convince myself not too. I must have walked in and out of that store about 3 times and spent 30 mins just looking at it umming and arrrring, must have looked a right freak lol. Just decided !Removed! it though, really want Horizon 2 and desperately wanted Forza 5 since completing 4 :). Picked it up with Titanfall too which I love the look of. Came in a package with Destiny, CoD Ghosts and Halo MC edition. I've already sold Destiny for £40 since I think it looks boring as hell, will sell CoD for about £20 in a week when I've completed it and will sell the Halo collection when it's released as I've already played all those and thought the first 3 were !Removed! anyway so will make more money back there too :). Ended up being a lot cheaper than if I just bought the console and Forza doing it this way. Still not played Forza 5 though :(. !Removed! installs and 15gb update!

This was ace!!! 26 Scoobs at my last count. Was amazing seeing a line of us stretching as far as I could see and the look on peoples faces as we burbled by was brill. Saw a few get their cameras out too :) Loads of great pics were taken by the people there and some rubbish ones also taken by me ;) Ill post mine and copy the others in when I get chance.
