Whoop! Just arrived this morning after ordering on Wednesday afternoon :). As some of you know I was torn between the Revolution Millenniums and Rota GRA's. Decided on the Rota GRA's as you can tell. I went to NBO on Sunday and no others really stood out and I didn't see a single one with these on. Obviously there were a few with similar multi-spoke design - XXR's being by far the most common - but none with this actual set :). What helped my decision the most though was a stroke of luck. When I went for my launch control map (delayed until next Saturday now due to lack of time FYI) Gaz at G-R actually had a set of those Revolution Milleniums in his garage. Offered one up to the car and to be honest didn't think they suited it :(. They were battleship grey which was a rubbish colour so that didn't help but mostly they just looked a bit flat and lost. They looked really small too for some reason even though they were 18". Also can't get them in black from the factory which I would have preferred. i am a bit disappointed they need spogit rings to fit though. On their website it says these have been specifically designed for Subaru's and to fit the hub perfectly. Oh well, very happy otherwise and they look mint in the metal. Getting them fitted tomorrow Pics will follow.

Alright mate. I've gone back to recirc because I've read it can help keep the turbo spooling better than the BOV since it's keeping the gasses flowing through not blowing them out into the atmosphere. As for how loud - I'm not sure in all honesty. I never had it really turned up. But it was definitely noticeable when changing gear and lifting off at higher revs and I had it less than half way.
-
As per the title. I've gone back to the OEM Recirc valve so no longer needed. It's in excellent condition, works perfectly and sounds great. Adjustable so you can make it as loud and sensitive as you like. http://tinypic.com/usermedia.php?uo=adkBqYNLltvKe4WHIT90voh4l5k2TGxc#.U7LR6dq9KSM Not 100% sure what they're worth. But new they are around £200 and the only other used one I've found is £120 so I think £100 delivered is reasonable. Any questions give me a shout.

No probs Gem. Hopefully see you at a few more meets in the future. Get those pics up too ;) Dave, how did you get that extra wide shot using your phone camera? It looks mint!

Good meeting you Mel. Car is even more stunning in the metal, congrats on winning car of the show again! :) Well deserved, some amazing cars there on Sunday but yours is on another level.

Good day was had and good meeting some new folk :) Think I'll go a bit later next year though, was a bit much and nothing really happened until around 11:30. Was getting a bit bored by end but had to stay for raffle haha!! Some of the auction stuff was pretty decent and went for !Removed! all too so think I'll make sure I've got a bit of spare cash next time so I can bid :). Anyway, here are the pics https://www.facebook.com/nick.foulstone.18/media_set?set=a.329770610506008.1073741826.100004192154481&type=1 Sorry I didn't get any of ours, for some reason just completely slipped my mind haha! Although I did get some of Stants' Forester when he put it in for the judging contest! Top lad! Shame the contest was rigged though and the new WRX STi went through.... Lol

I've just got back from NBO. Made a little detour and had a quick 45 min blast on my way back too :D Mine had PFR6 plugs for 2 1/2 years running at 330bhp with no problems. So I think you'll be ok. Gaz has just seen a couple running 330+ where the tip has broken off into the engine which is obviously very very bad so when he maps them to that or above like mine he just recommends an upgrade. 90% are still ok even at 350bhp on 6's but not worth the risk for the price difference IMO. At your level it should be fine though :)
-
That's a shame, getting good payment for it though :) Where exactly are we meeting by the way? McDonald's or the esso garage?
-
Cheers Dave :D yea I'm well happy with the sound :) . I was indeed, just got higher grade spark plugs fitted to go with the new map. Good timing at lights when I left ;) Yea, he's spot on. Thanks for recommending him Ash!

Well done mate, looks like top quality work you've done there. Must be happy with how they've turned out :) I've just had some upgraded spark plugs fitted to go with my new map and extra power. Gone up a grade from NGK PFR6 to PFR7's. Just gives me that extra peace of mind. :)

I've always loved the Supra's too. Especially the mk3 one. That looks mint too, good to see Toyota actually trying to have fun cars again with the GT86 and now this. Hope it looks that good when it reaches production.

Mine will be going dirty too. Just not had time to clean her. Oh well, not on a stand anyway so no biggie :)
-
Definitely got to be the legs, I've met Stants too, you don't have a chance mate ;) Plus I've never got lost yet, don't intend to start now haha. I'll send you over a PM later in week Gem and sort out where we can meet.
-
Probably wants you to collect that Forza 3 disc Gambit ;)
-
I don't either - blind leading blind lol. I've had a quick look on google maps and got my satnav - looks and sounds pretty easy. Can travel up with me to meet Stants and the rest though if you like?
-
Ouch! Gutted for you pal! Seem happy about getting a re-shell though haha. Every cloud and all that ;)
-
Im travelling from Sheff Gem if you're wanting a mini convoy lol.

I've got 18x8 all round, et45. They don't stick out at all though, they sit just behind the edge of the wheel arch. I'm not sure whether you need a bigger or smaller offset to stick out to be honest but hopefully you'll be able to figure it out from my offset using google... As for the extra stress - weren't the Pro Drive PFF wheels 18" and they were a factory option? I'm sure it'll be fine, loads of Scooby owners run 18". Usually much wider than 8" too. But the extra offset difference to get them poking out might put a lot more stress on though - couldn't say for sure though. -
Haha he's missed a couple that I went to as well the cheeky git. Always seems to pick meet night to change his car again lol.
-
Yea it has been mate. Haha cheers bud ;)
-
Im defo still going. I'll get to the meeting place between 845 & 915 See you guys there :)

Just been for a great hour and half long drive! This new map I've got is amazing!!! Loads of fun, taking a little getting used to though - hit the limiter a couple of times since it now revs so much better and cleaner lol. Unfortunately on some bumpier parts I've found a knock on the exhaust we missed when fitting it - hits the rear bracket on particularly bad roads. Oh well, going back this weekend anyway to get launch control so will sort it then. Don't know if it's too quiet too... When I'm better off money wise might look at getting the resonator removed in centre section or just get a un-resonated centre section made up and keep this in case I decide that it's then too loud haha.
