  1. I use autoglym wipes for bird crap they're brill as well. So much easier and quicker than trying to wash it off. Today I received my new front splitter :) Will fit it sometime this week or at weekend. It's made of flexible PU plastic rather than fibreglass so should hopefully be able to stand up to a few scrapes on floor without breaking :).
  2. Great turnout tonight :) Gem had some cracking buns too ;)
  3. Yes! Finally out and running again. A few teething problems but glad they all appear to be sorted. Bet you're well happy, light at the end of the tunnel and all that :). Just need to be patient a. It longer for the run in, bet you can't wait.
  4. Gutted, not had chance to clean my car lately or I would have liked mine on it.
  5. As others have said, I'd get rid of the STi badges but definitely keep the Spoiler.
  6. Yea that 1000 miles is going to be tough! You'll just have to drive it as much as possible to rack up those miles ASAP before summer weather disappears again. Yep, should be all good for Monday still mate. Not having to work too late on my current job so should easily be back in time :)
  7. Looking good mate! Great to see some proper progress finally, bet you can't wait to get back out in it :). We'll have to go for a good drive when you're sorted mate ;)
  8. I was wondering this actually. Not in a rush by any means but there's a couple of bits I could do with getting from Halfrauds but waiting for my discount card first :)
  9. Got launch control mapped in today and been for a good drive. Had loads of fun and even saw a Ariel Atom while out - never seen one on normal roads before. Couldn't keep up with it though lol. They are ridiculously fast and could take the corners far faster than I dare try. Enjoyed the chase though and got a respectful thumbs up :)
  10. As Dave said, just get it from the dealers. It's dead cheap and guaranteed to be a perfect match. I got some for mine to touch up some stone chips, only cost £10-15 for a decent sized pot of it from Subaru.
  11. One of the best bits of advice Martin and Dave at SSS have given me is to stop listening out for and worrying about general noises it makes lol! Subaru's - especially older ones - are just generally noisier cars than most and just sound more mechanical more of the time. You'll know when it's a sound that's something's wrong, if it's a noise you're not sure if it's a problem or not, it'll most likely be absolutely normal and nothing to worry about. ;) Still, saying that. Doesn't stop me worrying completely and still get them to check out most stuff haha!
  12. Cheers guys. Yes very pleased, keep wondering if I should have got them in gold though haha! Never happy ;) @ Savage - For more space between them and the callipers? Not really, they still clear so not a problem and read about some others who had them and there's sat the same for years. They are a bit "sunk" into the arch though so might actually look into them. Are they safe to run or will it cause more wear to wheel bearings? Which would you recommend if I did go for them? Edit - these look and sound good - http://www.scoobyparts.com/cgi/sh000001.pl?REFPAGE=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2escoobyparts%2ecom%2fcgi%2fss000001%2epl%3fSS%3dWheel%2bbearing%26ACTION%2ex%3d%2d799%26ACTION%2ey%3d%2d104%26PR%3d%2d1%26TB%3dA%26SHOP%3d&WD=spacer%20wheel&SHOP=%20&PN=EIBACH_PRO%2dSPACER_KIT_%2d_5mm%2ehtml%23aEIBS_2f5#aEIBS_2f5 At £100 for both axles though it'll be a while before I look at fitting these seriously since I'm happy enough with how they are.
  13. Cheers! Tell me about it! Parking a metre away from any curb from now on haha!
  14. My new Rota GRA's are on :). Very happy with them. Big arch gap because it's still raised slightly on this pic. Wafer thin space between them and callipers!
  15. Haha patience young man! Will be rubbered up and on the car tomorrow morning all being well. Like I say, pics will follow when that's done :)Thanks Stants :)

    Dilemma

Widetrack+DCCD = better handling and most importantly safer car ;). It has a nicer interior so it's just a nicer place to sit and spend time when you're stuck in traffic making you and your other half more relaxed reducing stress and arguments. It's newer so less will go wrong and it will save you more in the long run. Hope that helps ;)
  17. Probably are, either way they're meant to be good and better than the standard Walbro's. :)
  18. After a lot of searching a speaking to a couple of people I got a HRC pump. It's from a independent shop on ebay, well priced too. Supposedly last a lot longer than the walbros and works well so far :) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=251527740870&ssPageName=STRK:MEAFB:IT
  19. You should feel very privileged. This is the first time I've ever given money to a forum ;) . Just had a quick look at the discounts after signing up, got some great stuff there! May have to get some brake lines soon now... ;)
  20. I'll be there. Hope the Subaru is done by then matey :)
  21. This one? - http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/3040-dream-10-car-garage-picture-heavy/ May as well post a link for all the newer members to add to it :)

    Dilemma

I'd do it. Only thing stopping me doing it now is that if I did it I wouldn't know the cars history and I've just spent a fortune sorting mine out - can't afford or risk doing it again. But sounds like you haven't got that issue, it's a no brainer ;)
  23. Been a while but I saw this little beauty today Can't see it right well on the pic but the best part is a sticker on the rear screen that says "you like this" with the Facebook thumbs up logo...
