  1. No problem fella , glwts [emoji6] tbo was a bit dubious about helping you seeing as your selling up [emoji19][emoji19] Although I'm sure you'll be back once funds allow [emoji6]
  2. A friend of mine played a demo at a game show and was well impressed (the screen shots he took looked awesome) I probably will get it for the ps4 but, haven't pre ordered it due to the £54 price tag on psn . Let me know what it plays like tom as there's a few games on the horizon for ps4 and I'm trying to get some sort of order of purchase in my head . Due to switching from xbox (after 10 + yrs) I don't know to much about the exclusive ps titles .
  3. James go on a any parts website that sells both clutches and cross reference the clutch kit part numbers bud [emoji6]
  4. All classic clutches are the same dimensions although I'm unsure if you can mix different brand thrust races with clutch plates. Im afraid i Couldn't tell you if foz are the same as classic clutches . Have you tried cross referencing the part numbers ?
  5. Another clean classic [emoji41] Welcome to the club bud
  6. Great news ash [emoji106] Glad your nearly up n running again as you must miss having burble n boost in your life [emoji4]
  7. Hi n welcome to soc . Classic rads are the same although uk cars only have 1 fan attached to it , whereas your sti should have 2 [emoji6] I've got a nearly new rad sitting here (suffolk) let me know if your close enough to collect it . As I can't be assed to post it
  8. Driving casually I normally change gear at about 2.5 k ,keeps me just off boost . In 30 limits the old uk 5 speed didn't like 4th . Since fitting a uk 6 speed gearbox 30 in 4th is about 1.7 k and feels better .
  9. The merc was a 14 plate coupe which tried to follow me down the slip road onto the carriage way . What can I say "I've got expensive taste " [emoji12] Don't think they expect a 17yr old scooby to eat £20k+ cars . I do love the look on their faces when I've proved my point and eased off and they come past me [emoji15][emoji4]
  10. Ate a merc and a boxter while out n about today. Noticed a bit of boost creep [emoji19] After s bit of investigation found that I've blown a hole in turbo outlet gasket [emoji5] Oh well at least I now know why my exhaust is suddenly loud enough to wake the dead[emoji39]
  11. Result [emoji106] Glad you've found the problem and it was nothing serious or expensive [emoji6]
  12. Thanks for bringing that to my attention pete[emoji106]As I didn't think to look if it was automatic renewal and while checking my pay pal transactions had to cancel the subscription [emoji6] +1 for waiting for the halfords card before I go shopping for shinys [emoji39]
  13. I assumed you'd bought that other classic to drop the lump in your's [emoji6] Are you gonna baffle the sump (if you do track days) while the engine's out ?
  14. Tbo I do like a bit of stainless hmmm shiny . My current system is superb quality and I've never seen another one on a scoob . it's only the recent increase in db and the fact im getting a bit fidgety waiting to poach parts of the v1 sti . I haven't done anything to the car for 3 weeks and suffering from severe scooby withdrawal [emoji39]
  15. I've seen that second one before, love it .being a bit of a old school junglist fan myself I can appreciate the mc'ing [emoji5]
  16. Yeah far to many imo [emoji15] I do love the look of the cobra "track day friendly" system as well lol the back box is similar to matts pic but with a inwardly rolled 3" tip with a sort of mesh inside . I just want something subtle but , out of the ordinary Probably should wait until I fit the gruppe headers and upipe as they will change the sound anyways
  17. Mine work fine and don't leak with the new high tensile bolts .it's only me that ever sees them anyways as they're fitted from the back . Just thought if they were cheap enough for a full set I might have gone for them as I fancy a colour change now I'm running darker wheels
  18. Try again lol This popped up on Facebook and had me in stitches Watch "Tourettes Karaoke Plain white t's 'hey there deli…" on YouTube Tourettes Karaoke Plain white t's 'hey there deli…:
  19. Don't know how to fit them but, I think they're good as long as you get them set up with a map to suit . As the fuelling can be set up for max boost and you can always turn the boost down for every day driving [emoji6] And of cause back up again for the weekend [emoji16][emoji12]
  20. Quite like both of those, cheers chaps [emoji106] I did like my old magnex oval tipped 2.5" system but that was a bit to quiet [emoji5] I did find this on my local powerflow website But keep the pics coming fellas as I'm booked in for next Thursday [emoji6]
  21. Nicely done they look sweet[emoji106] Can you get the high tensile bolts that hold the 4 pot halfs together ? If so how much for a full set ? Cos when I had mine shotblasted they lost 4 of them and the heads on the replacements I got don't match .
  22. think I'm gonna stick with the decat , although I have got a miltek sports cat in the shed just in case [emoji6] Hopefully will be nicking some gruppe slipjointed tubular headers and 4 bolt upipe of my brv . So I was just going to get a quiet back box made up (by my local powerflow) and connect it to the last slipjoint on my zigen system for now . Just fancied something different than a jap style exhaust tip ... Oval , rectangle, twin ... just looking for a bit of inspiration with the pic's Really [emoji4]
  23. I've got 2 resonators in the middle section and it's still to loud for me . it was quiet untill you hit 3k[emoji12] then came alive sounding sweet with the standard headers, upipe and cobra sports cat .[emoji41] But with the engine work ,ported headers , haywood n scott slipjointed upipe and cusco decat it's a bit much on the carriage way now [emoji19]
  24. It will still cause a bit of drag but ,minimal hp loss imo . That's why when chasing ponies some people put lightweight pulleys and flywheels on (so the engine can rev more freely) . I haven't ever bothered fitting lightweight pulleys or flywheels myself .As although their pretty shiny and supposedly give a minimal increase in hp/balance , I have seen them loose torque due to having less mass while already rotating
