And as for the it damages your car. There has been no proof that it does I've never heard of anyone destroying an engine with one I think people scare people off with saying that because it goes against their grain of what a subaru should be like IMHO So no it won't blow up your engine :) But your engine might not like it you will get running issues so then returning back to the OEM will be needed :) But other than that can try it see how it goes :D

Nope hated every dam minute of it :D But no it wasn't to bad I had 2 issues really when I did mine kept getting a crease in one part and couldn't figure out how to get it out then used the misses hair dryer to stretch it about that went. And the corners don't seem to have stuck for me But I think that was me not cleaning it well enough :( but I used a bit of water sprayed all over to help push the bubbles but even when it's stuck small ones if you push it a certain way the vinyl seems to let the air out anyway.just about fall out on their own

Errrrm no My down pipe came off an STI Only problem I know about is if it's a JDM to UK they have a smaller cat so it needs some welding work done and visa versa. I stand to be corrected on that. But never heard or had a problem otherwise.
