  1. Nice upgrade I'm shocked it's taken this long :D
  2. Well when you look at them old ones and those newer ones they look spot on :D
  3. Sounds good to me. Remember picture as the project is under way ;)
  4. Might be worth shopping around for the wrapping but thats round about what I would have thought it would be.
  5. I've just used carb cleaner but have seen a few people using that foam. And that looks fun too :D
  6. Wow bargain :D Yeah I agree maybe if you was building a race/track/rally car then would have to be done but for a on road car I think thats a bit much, just for some nice alloys :D
  7. I am given them some stick too and not faltered one bit, other than an increase of road noise would be my only real complaint but more than happy with them as a tyre. And I've sent steve 7 emails now and not had a reply so not sure whats going on with the stickers yet, but i know I spoke to him awhile back and had a few big personal matters that could happen at anytime from good to worse without going into too much detail. So not sure if maybe that is the problem or maybe he's gone on Holiday with the kids being off school but will let you know ASAP :D
  8. ~Very nice looking more like an engine again now mate. I do love seeing that Cosworth symbol :D And I have to say amazing how much you have cracked on with it already :)
  9. Nice looking car mate I'd say again that it hasn't got the PPP on it looking at the picture but does have the UK300 Prodrive spoiler which is a good thing just watched one sell for nearly £400 alone on Fleebay :D a friend of mine does full car body wrapping but I still wouldn't know what it costs to have done :) also with the Insurance did you try the club's insurance you never know they might even ring you back ;) http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/insurance/ If it saves you some pennies can only be a good thing should get an added 15% off for being a member :)
  10. I've seen them on http://brakeparts.co.uk/ deffinetley copies or an aftermarket part. But couldn't tell you how good they are as a caliper.
  11. Very nice like it. see if he wants to go to japfest while he's there :D
  12. It could be that you need to replace the radiator cap and cleaning the hose to the overflow tank has helped others in the past but not everyone. I'd say if it's not the head gasket could be a really badly blocked pipes or radiator if someone's not cleaned it out or added Rad Seal to it in 130K miles is possible.
  13. Me too I think we probably fall into a category from when growing up that 100K the car was ready for scrap :)
  14. Nice job find the info out. I'm really rooting that they work, not that I have a problem with the main stealers but I like the cheap fix options more :) Unfortunately I'd say mine are just as bad but will look when I whip a wheel off next
  15. Must have the auto alarm feature set too only other way would be to leave the key in the ignition on half turn :) Or use the keypad to change the settings.
  16. Mate of mines golf is sat happy on 180k to drive it you wouldn't know still drives really well.
  17. My Impreza ones was 6.5 I did have to make some MDF rings to pull them away a bit otherwise the windows wouldn't drop down all the way, as said above :)
  18. Not the best photo and I've not bothered given my engine bay a clean until the weather picks up :D I've tried to mark it best I can to show where the T bit is And I agree most things are so easy to work with. And other than a stuck piston it's the only thing that makes working with the brakes hard work
  19. Oh not good :( it was my missus fault the order though I know that in this case :)
  20. No such thing as off topic police here :D
  21. £75 is a great price for a new one.
