  1. Jay would be ideal to go with you if you can cover the cost and as said would give you the chance to get further a field. Or like matt said train I've done that before I went with a mate he wanted to tag along which I didn't mind. :D
  2. I'd be careful with what he's said about the Prodrive pack it's more likely just had a back box fitted
  3. I agree I like the wagon just depends if you want the wagon or a saloon. But think for the money looks spot on. I will have a browse round later too when I get chance will try keep it as local to you as possible :D
  4. Looks good I'd maybe keep the rear lights I don't mind them but would want tinted windows :D I love tinted windows, have to get the rust sorted out but not the end of the world and would say be hard pushed to find many now that don't have it around that age on the rear arches. Bit more than I would have wanted to pay but I'm pretty bad with prices always want things cheap :D But would want to see the car with 130k miles and see paperwork for clutch and other work
  5. Boot's anywhere you recommend for the guys going ?
  6. That would be my only real worry is the strength.
  7. That car looks good shame about the dealer they even have a nice website with some high end spec cars :( But I found with people like that they don't care for the cheaper car's. As I found out when I went to Bradford to look at a hawkeye sales people didn't give me the time of day when I told them what I was there to look at, and was parked around the back with the reject cars with Lambos Ferraris all the 80k+ cars at the front. Car was nice and I think I would have bought it if they hadn't been so damn snobbish I felt happier walking away then buy it :(
  8. Here you go Audis worst for breakdowns too German cars are not as reliable as their reputation suggests. That's according to one warranty provider, which has studied its database to reveal the makes of cars most and least likely to have engine problems. Warranty Direct, which with 50,000 policies on its books is the UK's leading supplier of direct consumer warranties, claims that Audis, BMWs and Volkswagens have some of the least reliable engines available. Indeed, among the cars owned by its policy holders, the only engines to have failed more than Audis were those from the now defunct MG Group. In total 1 in 13 of MG Rover motors failed in the past year, and problems presented themselves in 1 in every 27 Audi engines. Mini was the third least reliable with a failure rate of 1 in 40, while BMW finished seventh (1 in 45) and Volkswagen ninth (1 in 52). The most reliable engines came from Honda, with a failure rate of just 1 in 344, with Toyota in second (1 in 171) and, maintaining some honour for the German brands, Mercedes in third (1 in 119). The company also pointed out the high cost of repair that can be associated with engine problems. In its highest claim, which was for a Range Rover Vogue, an engine failure cost £12,998.46.
  9. Nice I might need to get mine done I was hoping to buy one of that lad that was breaking his but never heard from him again :D
  10. I agree check the codes I'd also maybe look at a fuel cut defender
  11. I can't see it being a problem. But I think maybe Tlag or Savage or Martin might be better to answer that than me :)
  12. Welcome to S.O.C Feel free to share any pictures :)
  13. That looked fun and very quick, I'm a little impressed from the video :)
  14. I've always been told that if you still have the car and intend to buy it back don't ever let them take it. Not sure how right that is but while you are sorting it to be paid out and buy it back don't let them take it away even if they say it's to store the car. And it doesn't surprise me their being like that. They will be your best friend and send you emails wishing you happy birthday as long as you don't crash and keep regular payments up. Soon as you don't they turn you into the fat kid at school that used to soil himself and no longer want to know you, but will still be happy to take any jammy dodgers off you.
  15. Or making your passengers get out even if it's raining to check :)
  16. Hi mate as Jay said myself included had to travel for both cars. But I'm happy I did, and in my area Subarus a rare to see never mind buy. But would have thought you might get lucky with being more central than me :) But hope you find one soon or one gets posted that fit's your bill :)
  17. Glad to hear it :D And I like your sons thinking.. Planning is inheritance car already :D
  18. Nice one still plenty of time for others to get sorted and be there :D
  19. Very nice mate untouched, I'd look at the Crystal side repeaters too unless you like the tango look :)
  20. Feel free to share mate :) And £19.99 I thinks a bargain I really did think you would be looking at the 100's of £'s for one :) Thank you the forum is friendly but that's more down to the members I think really that have come here all been great like yourself. But it's not like that on a lot of the Subaru forums some of them amaze me how they have been so popular :D I think it's a bit like bondage some people just like being whipped ;)
  21. Welcome to S.O.C Veeeery nice! I like it I'd have had the corsa moved out the way for the photo's though ruins the picture ;)
  22. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C As Jay said we have a pretty good community of Fozzy's :) But we all share and join in with each model of cars here when we can. Like a big family really :D
  23. If you jump on the other thread in here about the same thing RB320 is going from Lincoln not sure if a few might meet up for a night out before with a takeaway. Sound like my type of night :D http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/4158-japfest-castle-combe-club-sign-up/
