  1. Ok so I was driving along and I was coming off the A16 and started to slow down and break. Then all of a sudden my steering wheel started to shake, I started to hear some crazy noise like a drumming noise coming from the front N/S when breaking, so when I got home I took the the wheel off from where I thought it was coming from. Took all the pads and stuff out gave it a good clean up copper grease check the pistons, one was sticking a little bit again but sorted that. And found this as I was about to put the wheel back on...So what do you think could have done it. I've got to order a new one on Monday now as they was shut when I found it :( Safe to say I've never seen a tyre go like this They had sort of bulged in 3 places Only thing I can think is the wires in the tyre wall had some how snapped And look how cool my new shoe look might get a full set all rounds :o Yes I took the one from the back and put it at the front :D
  2. I know there is a trick where you use 3.3ohm resistor that people use for aftermarket steering wheels. Did you have a look under your seat or the passenger seat at the modules and wires ? I've just found this I never knew you could do this with the Subaru after 2001, but might help you if you want to try it Also came across this not sure if you can get them in the UK or how well they work http://www.rallysportdirect.com/Splash-Air-Bag-Light-Fix-Subaru-Mitsubishi
  3. Well this is mine. How it never went pop I don't know :)
  4. I wouldn't have thought so. Just jive you more rubber on the back when you are racing around the mountains !Removed! people off ;) lol

  10. Same for me I've not used either make. And now need at new tyre myself :(
  11. Yes mate just below here we have a full section. I've had to remove all the parts for sale into the Subaru's For Sale section,as we seem to be having problems of people not seeing posts. :D
  12. I was going to ask the same thing he does always seem like a top guy on TV No worry's mate it was maybe a good thing as I would have followed up with lot's more ;) I did read the new survey for most unreliable car on British roads and Audi topped that too :D
  13. Should fit from either I would have thought I would just check it but I would try go from the 1st one. But check there is no sensor on the 2nd part before too.

How it should be ;) As you will be able to tell we're a newish club but has grown really fast so hopefully will be fully up and running with local meets for members and looking at getting involved with other events too. 15. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C And sounds like a great car with some nice added SMALL upgrades. And I bet it does go alright ;) Looks like you have a nice collection of Subaru's from the profile picture :) And would to see some photo updates as the next project development goes if you can I like project threads :D And feel free to send over alittle bit of that Sun it's getting cold here now I've even had to start putting my heating on :(
  16. I've never heard of a car failing for that and have posted the new M.O.T list but I guess you never know, but I doubt they would fail it for that. And to buy one I think they are apart of the hub so would need to get a complete Hub :(
  17. Ok not a car show like Trax Japfest and so on. But it is a Car TV show so thought I would put the pictures link here ;)
  18. You're welcome. And at least with you have one that will be easy to work with :) And if you have any problems feel free to ask mate good bunch of people on here, and it's worth having a look round the forum :)
  19. That doesn't surprise me at all with the Audi least he kept his end of the deal up by owning one . I like that (Retro feel) one way of getting round saying it looks old ;) But still looks good though and at least he was a nice guy. And on a completely bias view I would have had your car out of all 3 :D
  20. I was thinking about Only Fool's And Horses I love Trigger cracks me up
  21. There is a young guy on here Rollermite who had a battery leak acid all over the back of his. And he did a great job repairing it be worth having a look at his pictures.
  22. I have a friend like that :D I call him Dangerous Dave :D well it's my Missus sisters Boyfriend :) he's alright just terrible when he's had a drink ;) As for the strut it's not uncommon with the self level. Like the old saying just another thing to go wrong. But I'm not sure how to fix it myself :( could be a few things from what I've heard from cracks to lose of pressure.
  23. I still think Pulp Fiction was his better role :D
