  1. I'm a bit of a nerd myself. I once used to buy plastic models and build them :D I even had a life size cardboard cut out of Robocop ;) Speaking of Robocop the new one look's good :)
  2. I agree with you, get an older well looked after and save money on tax also leave cash over for you to mod it or even maybe get one that's modded and been looked after we did have one in the Subaru's For Sale but think that might have sold now I'm not sure. But I do like the sound of what the 2006 and 2007 have from what I found by looking them up. Like I said I have Imps so not 100% with the Forester or other Subaru's :) And thank you we try our best ;) and please keep us updated with that you do. And I promise if you find one you will be begging for snow and an open car park :D
  3. Seen you a few times always around Scartho area you always put your hand up
  4. They might have connected it and then took it off again yeah sounds like they got away with some royal heads on paper there for next to no work.
  5. Np mate might have noticed got most of the rooms that was asked for now Steve did a good job I think ;)
  6. Add it to the parts for sale mate that's been sorted too now. But if I see anyone asking I will let you know
  7. I've seen how you Scotts throw big tree stumps can't you just throw it to Sheffield ;)

  10. Just a heads up should be be fine now :)
  11. Hopefully nothing to bad :( But I like your positive thinking ;)
  12. I did that once...... Then got thrown out the gym and was told I'm now banned from all future aerobics classes :(
  13. Ouch not looking good fella. And lets face it if anyone was to ask me about them now the 1st thing I will remember is this post :(
  14. To soon for me mate but will pop down at some point I live near Grimsby/Cleethopres/Louth if that makes sense :D Anyway If you want it promoted on FaceBook too if you email or PM Steve the Admin on here. He will get that sorted for you mate steve@subaruownersclub.com
  15. Like the idea will see if we can get something set up. Have you seen it on another forum or is it some of your own thought's during intercourse with ya blow up doll when you spotted the made in Taiwan :) Just so can get an idea of the layout how they have set it up.
  16. I would try get some quotes 1st for what you want doing from garages. And also price up what the cost is doing some of the work yourself and then go from there. if there is not much in the cost to pay someone to do the full job and the price is good for you do that. If not I guess spares or repairs :(
  17. Nice one mate :D another happy customer ;)
  18. I agree you will have better chance to sell it, but I would keep it as you know you have had all that work done. As Tlag said you get another one it could be just as much of a horror story, this way you know it's not been abused and should get many miles out of her again other then the stuff like bearing's and plug's ect ect :)
  19. from what I can find In 2006, the turbocharged engine (powering the Forester XT) was awarded International Engine of the Year. This engine is also used in the Subaru Impreza WRX, as well as the re-badged Saab 9-2XAero So the new parts are. Variable valve-lift system that bumps horsepower from last year's 165 to 173, while turbo Foresters have a higher compression ratio and redesigned intake and exhaust components for a 20-hp boost to 230 and cleaner tailpipe emissions. The manual and automatic transmissions have also been updated for better performance, as has the suspension. Interested shoppers should also note that Subaru has simplified the Forester's trim levels for the 2006 model, Subaru gave the SG a facelift, using redesigned headlights, tail-lights, bonnet, grille, front bumper and side-moldings. I have to admit that sound's great So not sure why it seems to have the fault. Sorry I couldn't narrow anything more down. And it's the same with the Imp's all my Impreza's I've had to travel for them. So you're not on your own with that part of buying one ;)
  20. Very nice pictures mate love the motion shot's :)
  21. I would say if you are worried about the fuel maybe not the best thing. But you can keep the fuel mpg low but it's all to do with will power if you can keep off the happy pedal. I don't have any but have managed to stop smoking 3 times so there is still hope for me maybe when I'm older :D
  22. Having problem's with it mate not sure why I will move them all into one of the other threads I've moved them into Subarus For Sale just for now mate. If you still have problem's I will try another room ;)
