  2. That's it you don't know how manyou had done it previously. Knowing the track or layout makes massive difference.

  8. Not bad mate not bad at al not sure what a bunch of hairdressers cars was doing above you though ;)
  9. I'd say it all needs updating to be fair forum side and tapatalk but they do seem to make it worse with every update.
  10. I don't mind holding her ankles when she bends over to make she doesn't fall. ;)
  11. I find it easier not using tapatalk to be honest. But keep it as I do get notifications from it. :)
  12. Posted a how to up in the how to section mate. Some reason doesn't show links on tapatalk. Well I'm guess you're using tapatalk. :)
  13. Does look real nice mate. I do love a but of shine in the right places.
  14. You're welcome mate. [emoji106]
  15. 10w40 to 10w50 I'd say with being tuned. I always say it is best to have your own brand you want to use oil has been on some forums a huge debate and arguments lol. But worth maybe having a word with Tim on here from http://www.opieoils.co.uk/
  16. Could only find one for an Impreza but yes you do. shouldn't be to much difference I believe if any but link to the guide below :)
  17. Ratchet Set 10mm socket 12mm socket 12mm deep socket (optional) Short extension Remove the Air Intake 1 Remove the two 10mm bolts Grasp the intake; pull it away from the fender coupling; remove Remove the belt cover 2 Remove the 10mm bolt on the left and the 10mm nut on the far right. Once these are removed, slip off the cover from the stud on the right side, then pull the cover up to free the alignment pin from the grommet underneath the cover. 3 Here I've removed the belt cover and placed it upside down to illustrate the bolt, nut, and alignment pin arrangements Removing the alternator / power steering belt 4 The alternator belt is the outer belt and must be removed first. Belt tension is maintained by three bolts. Begin by loosening (do not remove) the 12mm alternator swivel bolt 5 Next loosen (do not remove) the 12mm lock-down bolt. Finally loosen the 12mm belt tension bolt. As you do so, you'll notice the belt now getting looser - keep going until you can work the belt off the alternator pulley and remove. 6 This image illustrates the bolt travel needed to remove the alternator belt Remove the A/C Belt 7 Once the alternator belt has been removed, we can now remove the A/C belt. Begin by loosening (do not remove) the 12mm idler wheel tension lock-down bolt, labeled on the lower right side of this image. 8 Then loosen the 12mm belt tension adjustment bolt until the belt can be removed from the A/C pulley. Install the new belts 9 Install the new belts and adjust the bolts in reverse order. The image illustrates the part numbers I used from O'Reilly's Auto - your part numbers may differ. Tighten the tension adjustment bolts until there's only about 1/4" play at the center span of each belt with moderate finger tension. Once you're satisfied with the belt tension, tighten each of the lock-down bolts (a bit of caution here - excessive belt tension may wear pulley bearings prematurely - observe the 1/4" of center span play guide). Before re-installing the belt and air intake covers, start the car and look for any issues with the new belts (keeping fingers well away from the new belts). Turn on your A/C to test that belt. If no squeaking or excessive belt play is observed then shut off the motor and re-install the belt and air intake covers. Look around the engine compartment for any remaining tools, drop the hood and enjoy the ride.
  18. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Friend of mine also has a racing Puma always had a soft spot for them :) If you can tinker about with serving that will save you some money but the sports aren't as high maintenance as the Kardashian turbo versions but feel free to ask away on the threads mate if we can help we will :)
  19. I think be similar to the impreza they use for the 24 hour races.
  20. For the alternator and powersteering belt and A/c belt is pretty easy mate basic sockets is all thats needed :)
  21. I use 10w 50 fully Synthetic as it's modded on the bug and 5w 30 on the standard blobeye. I agree to check it though if you drive it a bit. Biggest killer to scoobs is starving it of oil. Import car parts I use for my filter but did get a Bosh one from Halfords last time with club discount was cheap. also can use OpiOils to get oil from. As for brands I will leave you to choose what you feel is best for you and your car :)
  22. Yeah I don't worry about it. Just makes forward planning difficult I've bought the tickets already for japshow so hopefully make the two event's. I've got the club flag too lol. So if I can't I'll have to sort that out with someone to take.
  23. lol all the XV owners making me look like a liar now :D Dog where are you lol :)
