  6. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C stunning looking car :) And I must remember the safety line might use this one soon myself ;)
  7. I'm in the middle of know where mate. The places that dog walkers find missing dead bodies :) I'm not to far away from Cleethorpes/Grimsby Outside a village called North cotes. Will PM everyone with my full details in a couple of weeks with numbers and so on :D And that's fine It's my Mrs birthday on the 2nd. As for the start of the BBQ I was thinking about 2ish but that can change yet :)
  8. Sorry jay didn't see you had already done the looking :D
  9. It is mate all the info is in the thread http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/719-meet-up-and-bbq/ I live near Grimsby but will PM people my mob number and so on in a couple of weeks when I know who is or isn't joining :D
  10. I have removed mine also :D And my underwear
  11. I thought you had to do that will all car's I did with my last 2 cars anyway. Oh well better safe then sorry :)
  12. Not sure it would be any cheaper to repair the engine or get another car. I would look at it this way, the time you have put into this one and having another engine put in you know more about the car then buying a new one. But I would always look to see what is for sale 1st you never know could be a bargain with all the mods you want to do on the car for the same amount that it will cost to replace the engine, but a gamble again if the engine has not been looked after. I appreciate I've not given you a yes or no answer I think it's hard for us to say. Really you will have to choose what is best for you :( But either way I want to see pictures :D I will have alook in the week at some non turbos local to us I see a guy selling a Mc'Rae Replica non turbo near me wanted £1200 as a Buy it now.
  13. That's what I was trying to say :) I didn't like them there either :( for me but is always an option. But would have ago at making one myself. I wonder if there is any templates for these on the web might have a look. mate of mine make Ironman suits and stuff like that out of foam will ask him if he knows anywhere
  14. Meet up and BBQ if you fancy it mate on the weekend of the 2nd Aug ;)
  15. Hi mel ;) you wont see any real gain's in fuel or HP but will make it sound a bit more sporty. As for the induction kit I would say K&N is always my 1st choice and then Pipe cross. If you want me to find one that's suited for the car you own happy to have a look. Ebays seems to be best bet for a good cheap deal most of the time Exup1000, Miggs You both still make a better love story than Twilight ;)
  16. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Some very nice looking motors mate :)
  17. Yeah good point. Small prang but 6 weeks in Hospital because the Pods did the damage :D Only other place I've seen them is on the part infront of the clocks drilled on the sides near the stakes for the lights But didn't like them there either. I do like the look of the one in the picture but agree £140.00 I don't think I could even bring myself to spend that on pods :(
  18. No just the sales section from all the reports. I can see all the threads in here now.
  19. Only ones I have are ,like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROTATING-SINGLE-2-52MM-GAUGE-POD-FOR-CAR-DASHBOARD-NEW-/350628532016?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item51a316cf30 And I think they suck only ones I ever see here are all for the pillar :( which is one of my next to buy because I don't want to get rid of my clock.
  20. whiptissssh!
