  1. Hi mate sorry I cant see the car just a list of many car's. And 300's that I know of myself are all saloon's. So yeah would say it's a badge :(
  2. I took some off mine before putting some back on :) If your stuck with the glue on after, petrol or WD40 worked for me. Was shocked how clean WD40 made it look lol, and no damge to the paint work
  3. I would be the same to be fair with it not being an STI :D
  4. Agreed I have nothing wrong with sticker's on car's I have them myself. Anyone who has been in a carclub will see and not like what someone's car has had done with a bodykit or sticker's. But to moan about it like another forum I use is beyond me :D And they should do there self's a favour and go buy a Toyota Prius :D (RANT OVER) :D
  5. Hi mate welcome to the forum. And I'm also looking foward to some pictures ;) And it's oil temperature next to the rev's
  6. other then it's the best looking Impreza. Other then the 2 in my garage :) No sorry there just about the same as the bugeye and blobeye part from a 2.5ltr engine and look's But would be happy buying one. Just remember tax and insurance is more on those as well
  7. Yeah I'm like that just like to get on with it more so if it's going well :D Will have to get some picture's up of some of the stuff I been doing to mine soon. Dam work :)
  8. I think a main dealer service is about £160 for a silver, when I last went. They rate them as bronze silver and gold Gold being the one with belts and full service I do most of the service myself now
  9. Hi mate I don't really use one brand, just aslong as it's named brand and good value for money with as much gain's that i can get, as I'm a tight !Removed! :D This is what I have just bought. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1e75b8f332
  10. This is a long old aged argument I have a Turbo timer on the Bugeye and do use it, some people will say it's a must for both WRX and STI. Now with old car when Turbo's was new it was a must warm up and cool down, as they never had there own way to cool down. New car's/turbo's on the other hand have water and oil cooler's, so no not really important but people will argue that. And myself will least let the timer sit for 30 second's after a steady drive. Now if you was hard driving track day that sort of driving, then yes would give it 10min's to cool down. And I never boost or floor it until it has warmed up. Would say that's a must. And fuel if you want the best for the car and to get max BHP yes you need the good stuff. I have ran it on the cheap fuel and it will still work and had no problem but you know when it's running on it never seem's to be as quick alittle bit jumpy in 1st gear low rev's. But you can get high octane fuel additive. Wich I carry ;) But again everyone will alway's tell you what they use like it's from the Bible :D
  11. Yep set's it off really nice. I now know what my 1st mod will be when getting one :D I can swap a Blobeye and 3 kid's? they love forced labour, I can tell when there little eye's fill up with tear's :D But Ican't let my Bugeye go sorry I draw the line there ;)
  12. Haha.. Tell her not to worry Carpetright will have a sale on Bank holiday Monday ;) And nice swift job, and I think it look's great mate massive improvment already. Bet you happy already bummer you have to work but guess we all share the same problem :) And think the black and silver was a good way to go Kudos! :)
  13. Welcome mate And I agree with Steve get some picture's on. We all love picture's. More so if it's in colour ;)
  14. Would say the most common of all horror problem's to listen for is big end bearing failure. You don't want that, but you will hear it when the engine is started Don't all sound as bad as this but an idea :) Other then that just use common sence like anyother car, check it has been serviced oil and filter change's that sort of thing ask to be taken for a test drive, or drive it yourself for clutch and gearbox feel. I alway's have a look under the front of the car as alot of people take them onto dirt track's and rally. You can tell if it has :) Or you can look like a train spotter, or a health and safety officer and turn up with this printed off on a clipboard... And a pen! :) http://www.subaru-impreza.org/impreza-checklist.html
  15. I don't blame you my missis beat's me like Tyrone dobbs :) I have found anything Subaru that has.. Prodrive, RB, P1, UK300, 22B hold's the price of the car :D But with the RB32 being the Hawkeye. The best looking of all of them IMO, and a tribute car was alway's going to make it have a special place in my heart :D And if it make's me feel all warm and fluffy inside like a gerbil with it's cottonwool home on fire. It has to be costly, like everything else that make's me feel the same way :D
  16. Yeah I'm the same even had a full engine rebuild that's now got about 40K onit again :D lol And will sort some name's out. Bur be warned if my Missis does not like it I will tell her it's your idea :D haha
  17. I nick named mine (The Beast From The Far East) :D Not really funny enough I still have not named them. Might have to do a vote on here when I think of some up :) but Venom suit's it :D The one I was looking at was in Scotland with about 32k mile's on it said one lady owner from new.... So clutch is f@ck&d then ;)
  18. Hi welcome to the S.O.C And I'm sure if we can help in anyway we will do our best ;)
  19. Love it, I want it :D I was looking at one on Ebay the other night funny enough. But still out my price range I have a Bugeye and the Blobeye but the Bug's my baby only 300HP but will wait for the right RB320 I will have one, one day. :)
  20. Hi welcome to the Forum's And please post some picture's up. It's the car I want next (Drools). And it's a good job you live far away from me, you might come out to find it had changed colour and model to a WRC Blue Blobeye :D
  21. On look's I think it's a great looking car I heard from someone else about the power being poor, and also heard there not going to bring the Turbo STI version here to the UK. Not sure how true that is. Time will tell, but would be fun to have a RWD turbo with skinny wheel's :D
  22. Will do mate. And if the boss here feel's like doing a club sticker (HINT HINT) ;) we can try keep you a bit more busy lol
  23. Hi welcome to the forum's. And as for the Prodrive pack there is, if's and but's to this. You can mod your car for less to achive better result's. But PPP will hold better value to your car if you choose to sell. I have a bug that is uk300 prodrive and a blob that is standard, apart from some new added part's. Does it feel better to drive? No not at all they both make me smile but the prodrive is running more HP :D So really it's upto you if you can I would say go for it get a prodrive. If your budget allow's, But as said if not, you can alway's go down the upgrade yourself with remaps bigger turbo's and so on. :) Good luck with your choice :D
