Yes that's a disc version. Not sure where you'd get the best price for a download version
-
@Tidgy Well I pre-ordered mine from Game at the price as pretty much everywhere else £79.99 but it comes with an exclusive to Game limited edition 1:43 scale Porsche which I recon I can eBay to recover some of my outlay. I did the same with a console I paid and extra £20 for a halo one and it came with a dlc flaming helmet code which I sold for £45!! Then the console was faulty and they game me a new console and that came with another code and I sold that for £38. hoping I'll do well with this exclusive limited run car http://www.game.co.uk/en/m/forza-motorsport-7-ultimate-edition-with-only-at-game-porsche-pre-order-bonus-2033808

October 3rd on PC and Xbox One. But you get it 4 days early on pre-order apparently
-
The full day one line up is out for Forza 7. A bit disappointed that the levorg isn't in there, wanted to paint most of the BTCC cars in Forza 7 this time around.
-
We can get a few involved I'm sure
-
3rd October across all platforms. well the only way around The tuning issue is either, we all use the same car and have to download a race tube that everyone uses, that needs a bit of trust. The other option is we use standard cars and no tuning. Or use a mixture of the two. Having lower power would make the racing closer. In theory anyway
-
I have no idea what that means? I was thinking that on a given night we run a same class race with a standard Subaru that has some basic tuning (race brakes, suspension, gearbox and tyres) we put the tune up on Forza storefront and then you can paint your car up as you see fit but we all get the exactly same car as far as tuning, we rotate the model each race. Then a second race which might be a PI limited car that you can choose, maybe still only Subaru? That's unlimited tuning up to whatever the agreed PI figure is. and then a final race which will be class and type limited. So one week it'll be super trucks standard, no tuning. The next race might be town cars but unlimited tuning so we could be racing 1000hp fiat 500s. Or V8 transits vans another week, whatever we fancy. Kinda the silly race of the night. you get most points for the first two races but a few extra "bonus" points for finishing well in that race. all races on a given night will be on the same track. And we rotate the tracks each race night? any thoughts?

They're putting more "normal" cars in, all the cars from Forza Horizon will be there too. With 700 cars at launch, there should be something for everyone. Plus bodykits are making their way to Forza 7 and they come in two varients, street and race. So you can take a normal road car and say make it a touring car or a tuner. Should be good. but wondered if a race meet once a month might suit some people, it's not too often for a couple of hours so we should be able to hook up. @Gambit are you up for it?i don't mind running it
-
Two words - "Truck Racing" can you imagine half a dozen of us belting around in trucks. 700cars to choose from. dynamic weather, the only thing that bothers me is that as the weather changes from dry to wet, there doesn't seem to be a need to change tyres. ive transitioned too, I now use assists off and use clutch, only using TC on the more difficult cars to drive. they say they've listened to a lot of what players have been saying with regards the racing, but we'll see
-
Sooooo, anyone getting the new Forza Motorsport 7? Have mine on pre-order, only thing that worries me is the 100GB initial download, probably means I won't get to play it for 3 days! shall we try to set up a race night, get a few of us on perhaps once a month or fortnight and see if we can run a mini league? Of you're interested pop your name below, don't forget you PC monkeys can play with us Xboxers now too!
-
Usually when the outside of a tyre wears more quickly it means they're under inflated. Either that or the tracking needs looking at. either that or your just driving like a Hoon!!
-
The engine hasn't changed on the petrol between those years as I understand so there shouldn't be a difference really.

I have 2014 model XV Diesel SE, same as yours. 1st to 2nd can be a bit lumpy when under heavy throttle but 3rd in both mine and my wife's is fine and pretty smooth. Certainly not hard to get in gear. if you can't get it in gear I'd say leave alone as for the 4th service as stated above you can expect to pay upwards of £350 for that service and around £240 for the interim services.
-
Apparently he did his own driving, none of this green screen rubbish
-
Yeah apparently you can't say Subaruporn, well you can say Subaru, but you can't say !Removed!. . . . See?

Just noticed this film out this summer, think it's going to get a few pulses racing on here.
-
It's been run on shell premium. And it's a new car, only done 4k so airfiler should be fine. I think it's just the newer Euro engine.
-
So my wife had a newer XV in March, with the latest engine. Her car drives completely different to my 2014 XV. When pulling away it very easily stalls unless you give it some revs. Seems the newer engines are less torquey at the very low end than the older diesels. Just thought I'd post this up as a bit of info

I don't do many mikes in mine at the minute but I take it on the motorway, plonk it at 65mph in whatever gear allows me about 2500 rpm stick it on cruise and sit for 10-15 mins. Mechanic says that doing this will force a regents cycle. So I do it once a week, never had a problem with dpf except when I was unlucky and I had 3 failed regens in a row, it throws up a warning light if you happen to halt the regen alf way by braking or something like that.
-
Yeah, I never leave my car unlocked, even if I'm a few yards away
-
I only had mine done at a dealers because like you they did it all for free.
-
So things that I can think of that might cause the sensations your feeling that are mechanical and not user. (I mean that tongue in cheek rather than insulting etc) and I'm no expert so some of these may not help you, just me doing a brain dump. Over inflated tyres under inflated tyres wrong tyres (Yokohama geolander G95) worn/bald tyres tyres not rotated (front and back tyres wear at different rates) Suspension bushes shock absorbers something bent in the suspension badly balanced wheel tracking out badly Beyond that all I can suggest I'd see if you can borrow a dealer car for the day and see if that's the same.
-
The VDC will definitely light up if you lose the slightest amount of traction or slide. It's very obvious as I've driven mine in heavy snow but to be fair even then it was only occasionally. The XV is very stable and planted. I have not managed to lose traction in mine and I'm very comfortable that if I throw it in a corner it will stay planted. I've not been wrong yet. The XV is an odd car having both the highest ground clearance yet lowest centre of gravity of cars in its clsss. I have the 2014 model, although it was registered late 2013 and although initially I thought it could be a little skittish, this was most likely due to tyre roll due to the tyre wall height. I haven't felt a situation where it has had me concerned. The XV is also much lighter than most 4x4 and that will always make it feel a little more lively. But as others have said here, it does handle well, it does stay planted but it may take a little while to get that confidence. The 2014 model had suspension tweaks to make if firmer as I recall, that will make it a little more likely to skip on rough roads, but if it did, skip, you would see the vdc light up.

Sorry, I don't have the technical knowledge to be able to Help you. if you do find out the answer, please post up, it may help others who have the same problem. DC

Sorry, I can't help you with that, I can only suggest you phone your local dealer who may have an idea.
