  1. Not having a fastest hot lap drives me nuts, and i'll keep going an going until I either cry into my beer or beat it. usually the the beer gets it. Not that I'm in any way competitive , on that note just like to point out I was driving a 24yr old car :D I am going to beat 9 mins in the transit though at some point! I'll post it if I do.
  2. 8:00 ok for me most times
  3. ok here's my first proper lap in an A Class Scoob, the legacy I was using yesterday in the races. I couldn't be bothered to do the whole lap before the hot lap so I just went up the track a bit for a run up, hence the J-turn into the existence at the start 8:48.947, I reckon there's a bit more in there but having done that lap I'm off for a lie down and a stiff drink, clean laps are extremely stressful Forgot to say, replay is on my storefront for anyone interested
  4. Well I did a clean lap a 9:03. does;t sound that great unit you find out I did it an a transit, replay is on my storefront off to try a proper lap in a proper car now
  5. I have to admit I actually put in some 100 or so laps to learn every bump and kerb before I got my Sub 1:22 clean lap, so either you're damn good and knock me off pole quickly in which hat off to yer or be prepared to put the grind in. please don't beat me though, I can't sit through that many laps again but I won't be able to settle for 2nd. they'll find me sat in my rocking chair in 20yrs all crusty with an xbox controller in my skeletal fingers
  6. I bet that replay will look good if we've got SOC cars, its a shame you didn't have a replay of me and blackbosh, we swapped positions god knows how many times, right up to the least corner where I slightly over cooked it. I', good with our class A race cars to set laps, might try a Standard 22B lap also just to see., I wouldn't worry too much about clean laps on this one, it can get pretty frustrating after 9 mins to put a wheel of on last corner. Oh no, the red rag waving and I'm the bull. Blackbosh, that lap time has got to go!!
  7. Sounds pretty quick, I'm not expecting to beat that in a transit so fear not lol
  8. I might try to set a lap in my 24yr old car and then try and set a modded transit lap just for the crack Would be funny if that was the fastest lap though :-)
  9. what are we doing A class lap or standard car lap as with Topgear track I'll go and see if I can dog"conquer" the nordschleife, get it? I'll get my coat
  10. I think it was me doing the bumping. I even gave Gambit a love tap, actually that reminds me I need to have a shower. @blackbosh if you need a car design, I'm your man, let me know
  11. You nearly did see one near you. . . . . . me! Subaru just don't advertise them, for some reason they design a great car that would challenge the nissan Quashqai market and they sit there and go " what a great car, but for gods sake don't tell anyone about it, we want to stay in the niche market". Apparently Porsche sell more cars in the UK a year than Subaru, that makes Subaru more exclusive than Porsche! As for where I was being near where you live that might explain why I felt a but creeped out over there ;)
  12. I used to race in a club where you did just as I said before. you were allowed to put a street gearbox in, which allowed you to trim final gear, street suspension which allowed some basic tuning and aero mods. no race tyres or widened tyres only profile and wheel type allowed to provide the cosmetic look, and you were allowed to add whatever aero mods you wanted. not sure but I think you can limit the race type to street mods instead of race mods, with the limited tuning it starts to be more about the driver than the tuning ability of the driver? you could also do what they do in touring car where everyone tunes their car up to A600 but the winner of a race has to drop one weight category "thus adding ballast or has to drop down to A590 class, if they win again then its A580 Class down to a max of A550 where they then sit, each loss from there lifts them 10 points
  13. You could look at street mods only, maybe only allow cosmetic/aero mods. Street gearbox and tyres and suspension and lightening. No engine mods would make for much closer racing. Relies on a bit of trust with people
  14. drove mine up to North Wales yesterday, mostly motorway driving returned 71.6mpg, pretty impressive for a permanent 4x4. Carstin's Dealership are submitting it as a story, might end up in the Subaru mag? so far the XV has been pretty impressive around, just wish there was some snow to test it out on. although the other day when I went up to Spurns Head near Hull and it looked like it had been hit by a tsunami I did have some mud and some floods to contend with, although to be fair they were probably passable with care in a normal car. one thing I have found is that the white car is a pig to get clean, all the water marks and brake dust spots show up even after you've washed it. I had to use a clay bar to clean the lower half, looks nice when its done though, just a thought for anyone buying one and unsure of colour, if you don't like cleaning your car, don't get a white one! If I get time over next couple of weeks I'll put together a little review with some pics and stuff for anyone interested
  15. well, I just finished Gambit's race car now, just gifted it to him. I just need to tune mine up now for the race tomorrow Anyone else while I'm at it?
  16. I'm ok with that, I probably will get an xbox one this year but not just yet. I actually don't want you to be able to import graphics otherwise my painting skills become pointless. The hardest bit on the car was the RC logo on the front edge of the bonnet, which you can't even see :( Also, anyone know how to get your Forza photos off the new website, i'm struggling to find where my photos and vids are
  17. I'm good with either 3 or 4. Wife has given me a pass for the evening to race @Gambit, will try to start your car tonight, did Scooby Petes and it turned out pretty good "well I think anyway"
  18. Is that a unicorn car, if so I can't do it on that car as I don't have it. If its a standard car or in a car pack then I can
  19. I was looking at the 24hr design you put up of the "real" car I reckon I could do that if that's what you want?
  20. If you are wanting to make the STI logo transparent so that it shows the colour behind,I can do that for you. I've done loads and its quote easy once you get the hang of it
  21. I do all mine in game, I make all my own logos and designs, would be cheating with the dev kit
  22. Sorry forgot to say if you have close ups of the other logos on the car that would help loads
  23. I sent the SOC logo to Gambit who is sending it to everyone unlocked so you can mess with colour and position to suit yourselves
  24. I can do that, looks pretty straight forward. Did you want the mini-z logo and the giro logo? Also could you tell what it says under the WMLR logo I can't read on the photos. If you want the registration plate you'd better add that too. Do you want any other race logos on instead of the kiosho ones as it'll look a bit sparse otherwise. I'll see if I can knock this out before the next race. Although when asking people for a favour it's usually good to get thier name right. Dogknocker. Tut tut
