  1. Strange that Alan - is that a feature of the diesel models?
  2. I've read you have to go via the the wheel arch and peel back the lining to get access?
  3. Just changing those bulbs was a right F-on.........one thing Subaru haven't designed very well, probably with the intention of putting people off doing it themselves
  4. It's rare I'm not :P
  5. Will do in the morning for you mate
  6. I'm thinking this could be sooner rather than later for me Tom....had a look round the back with the engine running for the first time today...hard to tell if I have a leak somewhere as there doesn't seem to be much coming out of the twin exit pipes. If I put my hand behind them on idle, I can feel a draught, but not as much as I was expecting? Is it significantly less with it being a twin exit system? Had another look under the car and the pipes do look very rusty from the back boxes forward - in fact, I think I had water dripping from the y-joint where the twin exit pipes split What did you put in your 'request a quote' email mate?
  7. Yes, you'll be wanting at least a grand off screen price ultimately I'd say at that price Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I'm sure you can check your mot status online nowadays....check the vosa or Dvla site Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Fitted my osram night breakers today [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Do let us know how it goes if / when you go and look at the car. And I'll share this tip that Majik gave me which sealed the deal for me. Make sure you test drive it on A, B and dual carriageways and make sure you get the chance to floor it.....you won't be able to hide your smile from the salesman (or the family forever after) [emoji106][emoji6][emoji41]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. I too would like tints from the rear seats back (another thing on my long list ) I'd have thought it would be worth a call to your local dealer about a space-saver, or failing that, a search of fleabay. With regards to the wood trim, I'm not sure if there are any other colour options offered with the new model. Mine has a lovely grey-effect trim which I love, but not sure if that was offered with the new model. Anybody else know from experience?
  13. If it's the legacy one being sold by wurx_bits, I emailed them last week to ask if it was suitable for the outback and was told no - the rear bumpers are different depths, so it won't fit or sit right
  14. Fugly cars [emoji40] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Those 2 both look lovely....nice colours too IMO. If you decide you want the new shape, it'd have to be a 3.6 model for me [emoji41]without doubt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Cheers mate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. £54?....for our gen? I try to avoid tow bar cars personally, but don't think it'd be a problem with an outback Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. You can find that on the same page mate, or there's one on the bay at £87 plus £7p+p [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Higher tax band for that second one mate :( July-06 registered I'll see what I can find on the trader later, if I get a chance ;)
  20. Mesh grille as requested mate: http://subaru-outback.sgpetch.co.uk/pages/accessories/detail/model=310/category=ROOT-exterior/accessory=Front+Mesh+Grille/id=8766 :D
  21. Our other car is currently a short term lease to get us to delivery of our new lease car through my work. We currently have a Vauxhall Ampera, but will be taking delivery of a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV in September Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. And a parrott Bluetooth system.....it's an addiction, I swear [emoji14] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Oh yes....also want a rear bumper protector and have seen a mesh grille that I'd love one day [emoji41] when I'm feeling rich haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Brave move with the leather [emoji33] I'm still in the process of adding little enhancements to mine. So far I've added a boot tray, dog guard and last weekend some mudflaps I sourced from USA. Got upgraded headlight bulbs to fit yet and leather cleaner to use, as well as touch up paint for the 2 or 3 stone chips. I've already had a marathon session of claying, polishing and waxing and she looks so good for it....you could have struck a match on the paint before that [emoji33] Think my first real goodie will be a stainless steel exhaust system....next year sometime hopefully [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Tar and chip is cost cutting to the extreme.....I'd rather have potholes to negotiate personally. At least you can pick your way through them [emoji35] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
