  1. Any plans to produce internally applied club stickers?
  2. Great shots there Petrolhead :D .....how's it coping in all that mud with the new boots on?
  3. When you have the time and get a chance, can you take a side on shot (quite close, but to be able to see the whole tyre side profile in one go) of the tyre on the wheel too please? Sad I know, but I like my tyre to look good from the side too, as well as work well :P Cheers fella
  4. I'm a meguairs convert too. Use the clay treatment every 6 months or so. My routine is a bit less thorough than yours.... Rinse Wash with Meguairs next gen car shampoo Rinse, dry Clay with Meguairs clay bar, using Meguairs speed detailer as lube Polish with Autoglym resin polish....good at hiding those swirls Wax with dodo juice Alloys treated with Meguairs spray on cleaner, then autoglym alloy wheel seal Tyres treated with Meguairs endurance tyre gel Glass polished with Autoglym glass polish Also use Meguairs ultimate compound to remove those paint imperfections and light scratches....it really is magic stuff. Think that's about the lot
  5. I seem to be on my lonesome up here in the north-east, so would consider travelling to a Catterick / Richmond area meet later this year. Keep me posted :)
  6. Great stuff.....tyre wear is the only thing that concerns me with switching away from the Bridgestones.....previous experience tells me they wear well. Will be good to hear how you find yours over the coming months in that respect too :)
  7. Good effort and result - well done and worth the extra hassle it caused you
  8. Another cheaper option that seems well rated Nankang N607 205/70 R15 96H XL http://www.mytyres.co.uk/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?s_p=Nankang-N607-205_70-R15-96H-XL&details=Ordern&typ=R-173379&cart_id=18843824.110.22699&ranzahl=4&Breite=205&Quer=70&Felge=15&Speed=H&weiter=0&last_sort=tests&Ang_pro_Seite=50&sort_by=Lable_DEX&Transport=P&F_F=1&dsco=110&rsmFahrzeugart=PKW I'd heard of them back in the day I had my Qashqai, as one of the few manufacturer's to make the 18's it sat on. From what I can gather, feedback was mixed at that time. Anyone have any experience of these they'd care to share? Checked my tread depths on the Bridgestone's at the weekend and both fronts have about 4mm left, so time for more research yet ;)
  9. Ah....are you one and the same who kindly answered my 3 questions the other day? :D Not had time to ring the local dealer, so thought I'd try the fountain of knowledge that lives here :)
  10. Just a quick question really - will a dog guard taken from a 2006 Forester (facelift with sunroof) fit my 2003 Forester (with sunroof)? The main difference I can see is that there seems to be 2 holes in the grill on the 2006 version whereas there's only 1 (for the 3rd seatbelt I presume) on the standard pre-facelift one. This of course is assuming there were no changes to the fixing points etc as part of the facelift If anyone can shed any light on this for me, that would be great :)
  11. A minimal amount really. I've only spotted 2 chips on one of the rear doors that I'd like to cover to prevent rusting in future.
  12. Thanks for the replies folks....I essentially want some touch up paint to cover a few stone chips. Is there a supplier in this country anybody would care to recommend?
  13. Just as it was starting to get dark (I know ) I decided to try and find out the paint code for my Forester. Google'd where I could find it - ah ha, on the driver's door pillar...easy I thought. So out I went....no sign....only info there related to tyres and airbags. Anybody able to tell me where I can find it please, or better still, know what it is for my 2-tone Fozza? Thanks
  14. Must admit even in the week or so I've been lucky enough to own one, I've kinda looked for any other Subaru to park near, if the opportunity presents itself
  15. Dog guard and Bluetooth head unit both fitted today.....trip to the beach with the pup and daughter planned for tomorrow
  16. Just normal unleaded, but try to stick to branded rather than supermarket. Shell is my fuel of choice in the vicinity of a station
  17. Hijack indeed! FWIW I use auto care app on phone and fuelly online, as shown below
