It's down to you at the end of the day mate; we can only offer advice. It's for you to take or not.
Good luck either way [emoji106]

The FB post has mysteriously vanished after I said the pic looked familiar and asked who they'd bought it off [emoji54]

I'd always recommend test driving more than one. I couldn't with mine as never any for sale due to being auto, but try to if you can before committing [emoji106]

Giving some real thought to an lpg conversion.
Have found a highly regarded installer with track record of doing scoobies.
The thought of an effective 50mpg wrx just beggars belief. 59.9p per litre round my way and has been for years

Sounds like he might be playing with you to force your hand. Tried something similar with me initially when I reported my probs. Offered me money back and said he'd list it for sale for more money as he'd had so many enquiries. I stood firm and he realised I was being genuine and sorted things for me in the end

Bought my car from there last year. Had a few issues (crack in windscreen that I didn't spot, but still passed mot!) and shot rear shocks. Jason replaced the shocks and brake pads and rear discs for me at same time. I replaced windscreen although he offered once realised I wasn't taking the ****. He also did cambelt as part of sale. Car is mechanically sound.
Seems to fit with others feedback.

Game over for this attempt to get these off the ground then, by the looks of things.
That's 3 attempts by me now.....can lead a horse to water but can't force them to drink.
As the dragons say.....I'm out
You'll need the feet that screw into the bottom at each side. Can't see them in pic?
As it's a pressure mounted guard, it needs them [emoji106]

In a word, yes. No slipping, sliding and able to brake on compacted snow almost like driving in summer. Very impressive, and I've been a sceptic in the past.
I'm on Michelin alpin a4s FYI

Had my first real drive in snow of my 3 years of scooby ownership this morning (and first with winter tyres on ever)...bloomin fantastic [emoji41]

Nope, but I'm still up for it if we can get a few interested. I do miss not meeting up with folk, having missed the shows last year and looking likely to miss them this year too

Expect there to be a flood of pre-reg cars to hit the market late summer this year; especially those currently free or very cheap to tax [emoji106]

Plenty of threads on here about the early diesel units...have a dig around to form your own opinion is the best advice
