  1. Considering getting a front splitter for my legacy... Like this, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230946306213?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT which will make the front end look similar to this, (without the scoop ofc) http://pictures2.autotrader.co.uk/imgser-uk/servlet/media?id=941ac5819a54d9d7790e338591ad69ac&width=640&height=480
  2. Id have one of these. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/used-cars/subaru/legacy/used-subaru-legacy-malmesbury-fpa-201411229162368
  3. I love my legacy. My 2.0ltr non turbo is about 165bhp. Which im hapoy with. Or theres 3ltr flat six's, with more power. But i think the twin turbos are all imports, pretty snapy though! I rarely see other legacys so thats part of the appeal for me. Think ive seen about 3saloons in the last year.
  4. silly isnt it, my area is also covered in Salt and its not even near freezing. I propose that all drivers should have to use winter tyres from Nov to March, like most other countries. Then we could probably do away with all the salt on the road. Saying that, most people dont bother to replace their normal budget summer tyres never mind changing to winter tyres and back again in spring.
  5. looks like this has been sold now.
  6. ah right, i see. thanks Looking forward to getting it fitted and getting rid of that judder feeling when in traffic and that horrible squeal too. As it was bought by a family member as a Cat D at 86k, (its on 97k now) I have no idea of the service history, It's still got the original exhaust, so I'm guessing its likely to still have the original clutch/dual mass flywheel in. Although, it did have four Hankook winter tyres on it, so the owner must have had some sense.
  7. the clutch plate and the clutch has LUK written on it. But the flywheel doesnt seem to have anything written on it
  8. i've seen quite at few between 2.5k - 3k. with the high mileage and minor body damage it might bring it down a bit, but as yours has had a new clutch and exhaust it should help.
  9. Sorry about the quality, turns out my phones not much better than a potato.
  10. lol saw one once, as it passed thought, wtf was that?
  11. Just watched taken 3. Disapointed it was only rated 12, not too disimilar to a disney movie.
  12. Got my new clutch coming tomorrow! Yay car parts!!!
  13. I might be wrong, but it could be a poor choice of oil? Im not sure though.
  14. hmm, im n expert but when was the last time it was serviced?
  15. Found this on Ebay. (Same grille as mine i think) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Front-Mesh-Grille-Kit-2025-20042006MY-J1010AG001MB-Violet-Grey-/201259175791 Should fit all mk4 legacy saloons and estates. I've ordered from this seller a number of times, no issues, worth buying if you have a leggy :)
  16. As its on a Friday will have to put me down as a maybe. Shouldn't be too difficult to get the day off though.
  17. Cars booked win with Martin for a service and clutch. He said changing the clutch from a dual mass to single mass should be fine, just advised me to check that it wouldn't effect the starter motor?
  18. tom_gr7

    bad mpg :-(

hmm sounds a bit strange to me, but im no expert. What fuel do you use mate? maybe the petrol station has changed the fuel they supply?
  19. lol, I'd totally buy this. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2005-55-Subaru-Legacy-3-0-R-spec-B-GENUINE-LOW-63k-FSH-Just-serviced-by-POLICE-/231444716860?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276 Needs a spoiler though ;)
  20. 3.30hrs for me. :( Will definitely need to go the day before, either hotel or camping. But gotta stay as a maybe atm, will have alot going on in june/july.
  21. ooohhh ,got my new lights today! will get them in tomoz, yay
  22. Could always try auto finesse citrus power. Its like a grime pre wash, spray on and either rinse or wipe off. Id link but i cant seem to paste on my phone.
  23. I washed, gloss protected and waxed the legacy today. it needed a good scrub to get all that salt and winter grime off though!
