Cars booked win with Martin for a service and clutch. He said changing the clutch from a dual mass to single mass should be fine, just advised me to check that it wouldn't effect the starter motor?

hmm sounds a bit strange to me, but im no expert. What fuel do you use mate? maybe the petrol station has changed the fuel they supply?

Could always try auto finesse citrus power. Its like a grime pre wash, spray on and either rinse or wipe off. Id link but i cant seem to paste on my phone.

I washed, gloss protected and waxed the legacy today. it needed a good scrub to get all that salt and winter grime off though!

Thanks for the replies chaps. Will go for it. Rick, I'm in the Hartlepool area, however, I'm Planning to get Martin+Dave to do it in Sheffield at service/mot time. Martin's worked on my car on two occasions so I wouldn't even consider going elsewhere else.

So, I'm looking at getting a new clutch+flywheel. Which is unfortunately look about 700-800 just for the parts... So I'm considering going for a single mass conversion? yeah maybe worth going into the store and asking, I think they have to keep the cctv for a good few weeks before its re-recorded over.

Do we have a date for the next meet? I'll be in the Peak District from the 23rd till 27th Jan if that is any use. All being well the legacy will be with Martin for the service/new clutch on the 26/27th anyway.
