Won't fit if the bolt holes don't line up matt, when I had the brace mounts fitted to the strut tops the brace bar itself was too long. Thought it was my car but Gambit just confirmed the length is wrong

Thanks Gambit, that's a fair difference. Could say 82cm for me if it was measured the same as yours which is still going to make it quite a bit bigger

Aye I was chuffed with my handbrake into the pits! Think my connection dropped slightly which caused your car to do that in my replay lol. Next time if you guys want me to do the replays I will start working on them as soon as I get home so they will be uploaded before I go to bed. Nightmare having the computer on while I'm trying to sleep, knackered today

I just measured the bar, bolt to bolt (center of each) and it comes to 83cm

Length of the bar looks the same as mine, that points towards the mounts then. How annoying, maybe my car is wonky? Think I will send it back and forget about it haha

That is a pretty harsh but brillant prank! What colour did you go for? lol. Still can't believe my car misbehaved this morning, what actually happened is I was reversing up a slight curb, I'm talking half an inch! The mud flap touched the wheel which in turn grabbed it and pulled it off it's mounting. Car basically chewed it's own flap! :D

Haha far from minted just sorting out my future with savings and pension stuff. However, if you send me a PM with details about NBO I shall get it booked off work (if required). Okay I'm going to do the replays for last nights races... except bathurst because I didn't save that one. What would you prefer, one video showing a montage of all tracks or a video of each track showing the highlights?

I ordered a rear strut brace off ebay... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120805088421?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I attempted to have this fitted on Saturday to no success. First issue was getting the mounting end through the bulkhead but once both mounts were on we put the brace bar onto one mount to find it doesn't line up with the other side... about an inch too long! Here is a picture of the brace bar held up in the boot Has anyone had the same issue or know the size of the brace bar? I've either got a dodgy product or my car is thinner than everyone else. Which would be worrying ;).

I'm enjoying driving round in my lovely clean car :). Pulled my mudflap off on a curb, oops! Will pop it back on in a bit, nothing was damaged :). Hate parking round my work. Dog, did it look like the newer astra hatch then?
