Now had the calibers professionally painted and the bonnet repainted. No marks, looks quite stunning now. Not sure whether to keep...

Can I ask you Dan...do you have points or just passed in the last few years? Insurance cos are weird and they all specialise in their own little areas so it's a case of phoning around as Gambit said. No point me telling you who I'm with as in an old get who's had his licence since before you were born (until I worked that out I thought I was still 17 fuuuuuc). I owned a GX and loved it.

I've now replaced both reg plates with new ones, I also have auto glass booked to fix the small stone chip... And I've also booked it in this week to have the brake calibers painted and the bonnet stone chips sorted. [emoji15][emoji1] so someone is going to get a cracking car or I'm going to keep it...one or the other. I'll post some new pics up next weekend once all the work is done.

I'm not a fan of baby blue on cars :P If I wasn't so obsessed with Hatch 330s's at the moment I'd try and get a standard P1...can stare and smile at those all day. Type R would be a second best for me...I know lots will say Type R's are a better cars but I like a bit more luxury...if you can say Impreza/classic and luxury in the same breath

Perhaps prices have gone up then :o I've seen a number of private 330s for sale at around £14k for 50kmiles....not sure whether any will sell for that tho. I've also seen some standard STIs with low mileages (26k ish) go for £15k...so I thought it was a pretty good price. I've been reading up about the dealer today....it doesn't make pretty reading. They seem to get a bad rep then change their name frequently. So I don't think I'll be making the 10hr round trip to see it. I'd pop round to see it if it was local. If it's a good car I'd be brave enough to buy from a dodgy dealer....i think

Jay, Can I ask your opinion on the ad below please?
