  1. Mine is wifi Gambit... Interested to hear what your mates gone for and how they get on Matt
  2. Would like to see it in operation. My odb2 reader is delayed so would be crud to replace my dash with it...I'm sure this will be better, especially if it's wired rather that wireless
  3. JusNoGood replied to weeksy's topic in Subaru Impreza Club
Do you know what the logic was for that? Not heard that before either
  4. My mums got a Ford Focus [emoji12]
  5. Me too. X2 What power have you got and what are you targeting?
  6. Popped down to japperformanceparts today to get a new knock sensor installed. Lovely guys and horrifically tempting down there, think I'll be popping down for replacement seats and wheels soon.
  7. thanks. yes I'm all for improvements :D sorry who are i.p.c ?
  8. Thanks for the reply Stants. All the things I've read have said it's either a problem with the wiring or the sensor itself...one article I read made a point of saying the code definitely doesn't mean the engine is knocking. So I'm thinking it probably won't stick it in safe mode...I don't know this for sure :) It feels fine..although perhaps...perhaps a little rough at start up...not sure if that is me looking for problems. I did wash the car today which included spraying the underside to wash off any salt. I initially thought perhaps it splashed the sensor....I read it was behind the alternator and it looks bone dry behind there...although no idea if I was actually looking at the sensor
  9. Hi All, Hoping someone can help with a bit more knowledge than me :) Car has been running fine. I washed it today (not engine bay) and when I went to start it a few hours later the engine light came on. When I stuck me reader in I got P0327. I've been reading up and people have been saying it's either a short or failed knock sensor. So doesn't sound serious to me Was planning on driving my usual 100 mile round trip to work tomorrow. Is it safe to do so? http://engine-codes.com/p0327_subaru.html The P0327 code means that the Knock Sensor is not working properly. Problems with the knock sensor will not cause an engine performance problems. Replacing knock sensor usually fixes the problem.
  10. Looks great...how about an engine bay piccie [emoji1]
  11. Any pictures, Mileage, service history, mods, num of owners?
  12. Yea I tend to go from the breakers on Scoobynet to japperformanceparts to auto trader and then back again [emoji3]
  13. 35 nice. Mine was at 58 last April but about to hit 70k. Yea I've been looking at race cats. Just quite happy with the car now. If I was going of performance I may go for improving brakes and suspension. Thinking of pricing up the interior with STI seats perhaps. Too many improvements not enough money [emoji2][emoji16]
  14. Yea, not removed any of the cats [emoji4] oh I did de-snorkel too both my tuner and mechanic said the uppipe cat would only start to be a problem around 100k (I think they said). Duncan (RaceDynamix) was quite pleased. He did say he seems to get a little more power from later blobs. I think Duncan said he thought perhaps three hours of labour to remove the uppipe, so guess it would make sense to do other stuff at the same time. At the time I was quite keen to keep the car as standard as possible and easy to MOT. I'm really pleased with the results and I have shocked a M5 owner and a Jag XJR (?). A real pleasure to drive. My favourite is the acceleration from 2nd gear all the way through to fifth, just so incredibly smooth and fast [emoji3] id highly recommend it
  15. I have a 2004 blob. I have Pipercross, Prodrive back box and a walbro fuel pump. Nothing else. I got a remap using VPower by Duncan it it made 272bhp :) Duncan thought a could hit 290 by just removing one of the cars..up pipe I think he said. It's my daily runner. I do 100 miles a day round the m25 and through the Dartford tunnel. The biggest thing I noticed was the smoothness of the drive now. So much more fun to drive [emoji16]
  16. Looks pretty reasonable. So he put it in storage in 2010? I wouldn't be surprised if rubber has perished and some things have seized if it's been sitting in storage for 4.5years
  17. I bought a second hand Prodrive WR Sport....produces a lovely burble...actually had people coming up to me commenting me on it [emoji16] I paid £120 for centre and back box..should get a back box for around £70
  18. To WRX-S's still have the big snorkel in the wing? If so removing that should mean you hear it slurping up the air [emoji3]
  19. No mention of STI then [emoji39]
  20. Most I've paid was £780 third party F&T for an MGB GT aged 18....that was a while ago :)
  21. I pay £220 incl RAC but I'm an old git
  22. If it makes you feel better I met a 26 year old with a M3. He paid £1k deposit and then was in the process of paying 10 x £450 monthly instalments!! He said a Scoob would have been similar. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to find out what on earth he had done to deserve a premium like that ....but then watching him drive like a nutter through the tiny industrial estate with tight blind bends I've got an idea
  23. Come on then mate. How much you paying?
