  1. Welcome back [emoji3] Yea pics are defo required [emoji16]
  2. Wow! Well I typed how many Subaru into Google and got this... https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/subaru_impreza_p1 Price is difficult as it's what someone is willing to pay. On occasion you see ultra low mileage cars for sale in a fancy showroom for lots of money but they do hang around for a long time and you never know how much they sell for in the end.
  3. Is that mileage a typo? If it's not I'll give you £5k [emoji16] Do you regularly drive it on a private road?
  4. Might have to try a cloth [emoji2]
  5. Hi Gambit, you've Clay bared you car too right? How does the experience and finish differ with a clay cloth?
  6. Welcome mate As Gambit said...I'd really thoroughly check the history. I went to see a few cars where the dealer said full and when I checked it was no where near
  7. So using google looks like yours are a total of 33" and mine are 34". Perhaps it's the 234 width hitting the arches.
  8. Aucky, What height tires have you got on it? I guess if 19" + your tire height is more than 18" + 45cm then that could be the problem.
  9. I have standard 17 wheels with 215/45 tires and no sounds at all going over pot holes, man hole covers or fast over speed bumps ;)
  10. I don't see a difference mate, what's the prob?
  11. What do you mean by fighting itself mate? Do you mean judder? If you feel judder it'll be a loose or worn power steering belt.
  12. Have you got a link please Dave?
  13. Yea front garden so I can keep an eye on the neighbours
  14. Sofa...not snowing here
  15. It is more expensive to run that my wife's Honda. Lower MPG and higher servicing but life is about having fun and enjoying yourself and not saving your money so the government can nick it off you when you need care or [email protected]'s that rant thread
  16. I'd take your liver if it's going spare. Need another with all the abuse mine is getting. Op, Good luck with your sale mate. I wanted this colour when I bought my bug eye in 2001. Very nice
  17. Yea price is reasonable. I met a 26yo (I think he was, trying to remember the year he had tattooed onto his neck) with a green BMW M5. He was paying £450 a month + £1k deposit!! He said it would have been the same for an Impreza. I didn't get to ask him about his driving history, by the way he drove around Id expect frequent accidents [emoji53]
  18. [emoji20] shame was looking forward to seeing the results...although will still be keen to see the wheels [emoji16]
  19. Can't you just buy a black one? There's plenty around [emoji6] You can spend £700 on a WRX and get it from 225 to 270bhp very easily [emoji16]
  20. Have you had an insurance quote on a 2ltr blob? That'll be cheaper initial cost, tax and petrol and probably insurance [emoji6] If it makes you feel better I always thought a hawk looks like a seat Leon from the front [emoji4]I couldn't bring myself to pay 500 tax...just makes me feel sick thinking about it. Lol. I love my Subaru. No other car has made me smile so much...I've been doing 100 miles a day this year and every time I get in it and turn key key it brings a smile to my face...even with a 50 mile M25 drive ahead of me It isn't as comfortable and quiet as other cars but it's soo much more fun. Hit 3.5k RPM and yeeeehaaaaar [emoji16]
  21. This is a good source of information on engine performance. Duncan talks about taking it to 300 bhp and says an induction kit won't improve performance. Just need an upgraded panel filter. http://www.racedynamix.co.uk/remap/subaru-remapping/typical-upgrade-path-newage-2-0-wrx/ I have a 2.0 wx blob. So slightly different car :D I did Pipercross panel filter, WR Sport back box (it was a standard option for my car from Prodrive, I got it 2nd hand off eBay) and a Walbro. Duncan remapped it to VPower and I got 272bhp. I didn't really do it for the extra power. I wanted slightly better economy (if possible) and a smoother delivery of power and better midrange. It really does feel like a new car. Theres no jerkiness going through the gears now. As for economy, the Walbro seemed to dent my MPG figures - I get about 60miles less a tank now.....the remap a few months after has helped but it didn't bring it down to pre-walbro figures.
  22. Welcome mate....nice purchase. You got any plans for it?
  23. Thanks dude. Very interesting...especially as mine has done 68.
  24. My value is £4k and I do 12k miles. I'm 45 and it costs me £220 a year for standard car. So there's a good comparison [emoji3]
  25. How much do you pay Savage? As you said really does depend on loads of factors...the main one being how the insurer sees mods...some insurers specialist in the lower risk over 40's ford and bmw drivers
