Hi all I'll be doing my clutch soon and , I'm pretty confidant DIY mechanic with lots of clutch changing engines etc experience , I'm just looking for a few pointers , not skim the fly wheel etc I know all that , just I'm not doing it the engine removal way , I'll be jacking the car up , so how hi do I need to get it for removal I just saw a vid where the guy just slid the box back enough to get to clutch etc ,didn't even remove front drive shaft , just any pointers from you guys that could save me some time :-)

I did my injectors and plugs filter and oil ready for remap on Tuesday :-)

Done my plugs 2day I've just gone from 6 to 7 lol

That's a !Removed! gaulson ,I almost done that to my front wing just by leaning onit there so flimsy :-) I have just done my fuel pump lost one off the tiny nuts new I would it was going to easy , lucky not in the tank ,but it was easiest job in the world :-) just got injectors now before remap :-)

Newage scoobs weight between 1350 spec c s 202 etc to hawk sti at 1490 kg 1880 kg is gross weight fully loaded before it's declared illegal

I used comma g48 concentrate better than green g40 good enough for lambos and bentleys :-) from halfords then bought 10 litres of de ironised water for 4 pound aswell

I'm not back in action till after the 24th feb

Got some pressies in the post , got my new maf sensor , cleared codes again , plugged new one in fired up straight away love a easy fix , right I can get on with the rest now .lol

Had fun 2day spent hours getting the turbo inlet to fit as I had to cutt bits off as the fit was **** , the recirc pipe was halfway under inlet so had to buy a copper 28 mm end cap to put in and blank it off,can't send it back as I cutt it up lol now it's doing my head in as I got engine OCD and it don't look to good lol , started the car up , air lock , I could hear it sucking like a fish , cleared that , turbo is sweet as a nut , very quiet compared to my td04 , when for a little drive off boost , done one short boost , and !Removed! me I had to hang on for dear life ,no more boosting till remap , then on way home car just died , would not start for **** , plugged the reader in P0102 and P0113 maf , I unplugged the maf car started straight away , drove home , new maf ordered , it wanted to go way past 1 bar lol lesson learnt , don't get excited and kill engine bit by bit lol , before remap , ordered some NGK PFR7B spark plugs and , got some g40'coolant and 10 litres of de ironised water , List. Of things to do 1 fuel pump 2 injectors , on day of map 3plugs and service 4 boost solenoid , on day of map 5 new maf now 6 remap on 24 th Most likely new clutch lol after Quick wash Oh and I named my car 2 day lol Cookie Monster lol

these finally arrived so I will be putting them on and firing the old girl up 2 moz with decat upipe and big fat vf43 see if water lines etc are all ok , and a good engine bay clean :-)

Nice engine bay , have you got a filter on top of your catch can , does it vta ? Or recirculate :-)

Building a custom oil catch can as amount of oil in my inlet is alot :-) just need to know sizes of pipes as no companies want to say as they charge 200 plus for a breather kit and I can do my own for like 20 lol looking at silicone hosing , help me !!!!!!

Hi all just wondering what coolant everyone uses I'll be going waterless soon , but I need to top up abit were I changed turbo , I have green coolant in at the mo what makes do green lol lol ,only need a litre for little top up :-) or should there be enough in expansion tank to compensate :-)

Yeah hoping for around 330 :-) all depends on how good my engine is I suppose and how far he wants to push it , I was gonna fit it all and just leave it on my drive , and drive my work car about , ( slow as **** lol ) And I'll do a service on it her a few days before hand I might need to drive it a few miles to the mrs work and back Sound I won't fit injectors till day before as that was worrying me abit :-) I'll change to boost solenoid on the day aswell Proberly need a new clutch in a month or so lol

Today I have been sweetening the wife up , so I get left alone on Sunday lol to do to jobs
