Ive not looked at mine so I carnt comment on the differences.if you have already bought and you want it fitting then get it done or send it back

I will be happy with 300 any extra is a bonus.

As for over tightening things go by the torque settings with a torque wrench and you carnt go wrong

Thing is with the water pump you could actually cause more problems by trying to make things right.If its not noisy and there is no leaks then I would leave it imo

Whats the Vf35 like compared to the Td05

They are a bit marmite lol

Sounds nice.You can notice a big difference just when you blip the throttle

I didn't get the up pipe with it Clive.All I no is its huge.Ive got no cats at all with a 3inch to 2 1/2 all the way through and my rear can.The exhaust port going to the up pipe is massive.

Funny you should mention that Clive because mine came from a Bug eye lol

There is quiet a difference in the fitting.When you turn the key over and blip the throttle and the car sounds angry

Td04 on the left and Td05 on the right

The bolt holes are bigger on the td05.I will stick a picture up in a moment

I run 10w/60 fully synthetic from car lube.I will change mine about every 7 thousand miles

Nope.I have the same vent as your original one you had on.I think someone is making these

Where did you get it from Matt because I got an sti scoop from a later car and it didn't fit

Did your massive bonnet scoop just fit straight on to your bonnet or did you have to modify it

And here is the exhaust ports I hope this may help someone Td04 Td05 As you can see the exhaust on the Td05 is huge compared to the Td04

Neither had I till I compared them both.Just thought I share the information for anyone in the future doing this conversion

I thought id better update this thread.Ive removed my Td04 to fit my Td05 and the water pipes and the banjo bolts are larger on the Td05 so the Td04 water pipes wont fit.Luckily ive a mate with a brand new set of Td05-06 pipes so there getting dropped off tonight.

Hks dumpvalve does it for me
