  1. Im after a bov valve from an impreza up to a 2000 model. My forester is a 2000 model and my bov is fooked and want to replace with a impreza item.I would consider a dump valve but im on budget
  2. Im after the powersteering hose that goes from the rack to a connection half way up the pressure side to a connector going to the pump. Its an alloy pipe
  3. Siren is on drivers strut tower nr airbox and im sure the bonnet sensor is there as well.I will double check on that tomorrow but the siren is defo there lol
  4. Here is the pics
  5. Ive removed the gearbox today just taking my time, having a week off work and all that lol.Ive looked in the gearbox to find what looks like engine oil old and new.The back of the pressure plate is caked in oil yet the flywheel is bone dry and the clutch disc is clearly worn out.I will get a few pics up in abit there rushed because it was getting dark
  6. I think that's your problem mate because mine isn't located in the same place as yours
  7. Started my clutch swap lol
  8. Nice wagon mate and I bet it shifts lol

Where is the japfest held put me down for it either way
  11. Yeah it will.Ive just bought a clutch from an impreza for my forester.Flywheels shouldn't be a problem
  12. My jobs for today was adjusting my hand brake and that dreadfull squeal which you hear driving down the road lol.My missus heard it weirdly enough when I pulled up at my sisters and the car moved slightly forward. It turned out to be the rear pads. Also the rear strut brace isn't a straight fit in my case so I started modifying it to fit and ran out of welding wire :(
  13. Im not expecting miracles with this clutch and must admit ive never driven on any paddle clutch.I get clutch judder now first thing when its cold so it doesn't bother me.And you never no I might just do a sprint or a race or even a drift.Nice to know I will have a clutch that can cope with the above tasks
  14. Ive read on various threads of organic clutches failing and being no good at 400bhp.
  15. They hold more power, more torque and I can launch with out worrying about the clutch slipping.Ive got the sprung clutch so I shouldn't really get any clutch judder like you get on the scoobys now.the clutch disc I have is rated to 900 pounds of torque but I wouldn't get that through my std pressure plate. On my std pressure plate I would be ok with 350 bhp before I need to worry about changing the pressure plate for an uprated one which is about the time you would change gearboxes to a better one that can hold the power and wont break gears.Im only looking for 300bhp max it doesn't have to be dead on that figure either.Im after a good realiable set up that will take abuse if I give it and wont **** its self but still being able to use as a daily driver.
  16. My Paddle clutch has just arrived this will be getting fitted in a fortnights time .I will be off for a week then and I will just take my time fitting it
  17. I haven't moved anything on the forester lol.Where abouts is your siren and bonnet switch? If you want a picture I can get you one if you like
  18. This will get fitted tomorrow if it doesn't rain
  19. I collected the rear strut brace tonight for a bargain of £20 lol will get pics up in a min
  20. Cheers for the offer mate there abit pricey for me at the moment and ive just a suspension set up from Matt just waiting for them to be delivered lol
  21. When I first bought my Forester it needed a lot of attention.First thing was the brakes the discs was warp could feel it under the brake pedal.I bought budget discs and pads for front and rear to get me going again. The front pad retainer clips were shagged so I threw them away and drove for a while with out them you could hear the pads on the front rattling about some times.Ive also fitted 2 new front calipers as well as my old pistons were sticking.Anyway these pads were rattling round and doing my head in so I bought some new pad retainers fitted them and and copper slipped my pads.About 2 days later you could hear a squeeling sort of noise if that's how I could describe it when the cars warm and when the cars rolling in traffic or crawling but when you press the brake pedal it stops. As you pick up speed the noise picks up abit then disappears when at speed but then it doesn't do it all the time.Im thinking out loud here and guessing but because I threw my retainers away the pads wouldn't really have bedded in properly and now the clips are there the case is the cheap pads are !Removed! and not bedding in properlyWhat do you think.Ive heard similar noises on buses and other cars
  22. Cheers mate you do have some nice goodies lol
  23. Sounds good mate especialy carbon fibre.I just carnt justify it yet especialy with the price
