Looks great but I like it better without the whale-tale.....with it its about as subtle as Rod Stewarts leopard skin disco trousers. But that`s only my opinion based on me being a 58 year old young !Removed!

Steves 05 Outback 3 litre H6
Unfortunately it was deaded on impact! :( I didn`t take the owners details either, as we were both in shock I just gave her my business card and said call me when you feel like it, after all I had just murdered her baby. 10 months later and still no call. Its just been gaffer-taped up ever since....professionally obviously Total cost to put right has been around £300.00

A dog ran out and collided with me believe it or not, a frigging big fat Airedale. I must have been doing 40 ish and had no time to even brake. Cracked the bumper and smashed the windscreen washer bottle which is under the wing, that cost me about 60 quid for the bottle and I got the bumper (used) from Ebay £75.00. and about £150 to spray and fit.

No idea exactly what he did, the same lad who sprayed the new bumper, I just asked him if he knew anyone who could get the paintwork looking mint, with it being black it shows all the wee scratches, and there was a fairly deep scratch on the bonnet where I caught it with the power-wash wand......that`s completely gone and all the swirly ones where it looks like flies have been ice-skating on it. Cost me £80.00.

My Outback 3.0r Auto Test Drive
Its outrageous that if you want a nice set of wheels of YOUR choice they have your pants down and roger you. A Prius......one of the most polluting cars ever made when you actually look into how its put together and then how it has to be de-commissioned......... Politics of envy!

They do tend to look a bit like that but a magnet is the easy way to tell, stainless is not magnetic. As far as I know mine is stainless. Of course I could be wrong, in fact i`m going to check at the weekend meself. :)

Where is the obd port please
No, its in full view, that`s the law with the OBD port, it has to be easily accessible. Just duck your head under the dash, may need a torch.

With the mileage on it the original ss system should be fine........looks good with the twin trumpets as well.

Where is the obd port please
Right hand side sorry....never could tell the difference.

Where is the obd port please
Yes, under the dash left hand side of steering column

My one criticism!..................the remote key fob has almost zero range, it has and yours will have a cat one alarm system, the main box is under the front passenger foot well, if you flip back the carpet on the side of your right foot (How else could I describe it) you will see the antenna lead wrapped around the heater motor. unwind it and let it hang down (under the carpet) you get about twice the range, still not good enough but better. I`m gonna experiment by lengthening the wire bit by bit until I get better range.

In your 1st pic, to the left of steering wheel there are 5 little vents, no idea what these are but the switch for turning it off/on is just below. Eyes like a $hithouse rat!
