  1. Now the new bumper is on it looks like its self again :) And the "OUTBACK" decals for the front seats, I think they look good. The 200 OB I had did have "OUTBACK" stitched in the leather front seats but was very hard to see.
  2. Actually, it looks like an octopus
  3. Welcome home! ;)
  4. Just turn the radio up! :)
  5. May be a tad too early for me as i`m confined to barracks with a prolapsed disk which is compressing a nerve, so i`m dosed up with industrial strength painkillers until they can get me repaired. But keep reminding me please. ;)
  6. How very welcome you are!!
  7. You`ll also find that mostly they are quite easy to work on, with the layout of the engine very well thought out. Although I still have no idea how to change the plugs. :P
  8. I have one.......it's a bit too thick to fotocopy but if there anything specific you need to know PM me.
  9. If its your 11st OB you will be pleasantly surprised. I'm on my 5th. All petrol, I did say I would be looking for a diesel this time but a 3 ltr petrol caught my eye and I could not resist her good looking body and flat 6 engine. And she's a right go'er.
  10. How easy is it to get a new key fob?
  11. I give mine a good blasting with a degreaser, leave it for 15 minutes and power wash mine....never cover up anything, usually dry in no time. Yours looks ace!
  12. Thought I would post this sexy picture! Go on.....you know you want to and no-ones looking And you could eat your dinner off it!
  13. Well.....my last Outback flat 4, 2.5 when I part ex`ed it had 183`000 on the clock and it was sewing machine quiet, used next to no oil, didn't smoke at all, was as tight as a Scotsman and felt like new.
  14. Don't they all come with those.? I have them for my outback
  15. You'll get the code by phoning any subaru dealer, I just did the very same thing the other week.
  16. This is my 4th Outback, all 2nd hand....started with a 98 in the nice metalic red with grey cladding, arches, skirts and bumpers. Then a 200 model in green with the same grey cladding etc. Then a 2004 in a similar green, not sure what the exact name for the colours are. All 2.5 flat fours and all just as bomb-proof :D Now ive gone for the H6 3litre, all one colour with relly good spec, mind you they are all well apointed with leather, cruise etc. This one has the built in Kenwood nav system. I`m going to get the paintwork minted up in a few weeks, its not bad by any means but the car needs to look in its Sunday best :D
  17. Welcome to the forum...i`m new as well......very very friendly and knowledgeable folk! Nice looking motor as well....you will have a lot of fun and satisfaction from your Subaru. There is no substitute!! ;)
  18. I`ll also have the cars bumper sorted and I aim to get someone to compound cut the paint back to new condition, only trouble with black showing every tiny scratch :o
  19. Remind me nearer the day. At the moment i`m suffering from a trapped nerve in my back which radiates excruciating pain down my left leg and can`t walk too far... ..hardly at all really, the tramadol and morphine is just about keeping me together. I have an MRI scan next Weds so hopefully they can repair me pretty soon after that. We`re off today to the northern soul weekender at Cleethorpes....only going cos its paid for ^_^ so that will give me an idea of how far I can push the pain. Daft as it sounds I can drive fine with it being an auto, although i`m now chancing a 2 hr drive so going in the wife's mini. Fingers crossed im ok for August (I fecking well better be!!!) would be glad to attend ;)
  20. Yep, spot on
  21. Oh yes, you can't beat the feel of leather on your back side. Where's the meet at? I'll try the v power next time I fill up.
  22. There like nothing else I've ever driven, smooth, quiet, very quick, built like a battleship and goes anywhere. No timing belt to orry about. The difference of having the 5 speed auto is awesome. And its worth the extra £ tax believe me! They're just so reliable. I could just do with a few more miles to the gallon. Max is 30mpg on a run to Edinburgh.
