  1. good points there son. tho over the years i have found one common problem with the classics.check the rear strut tops as there seem that a lot of uk one have bad rot areas around the rear strut tops.
  2. spark plugs? or coil pack/ packs? does it clear up the revs ? my money would be more on ignition side than fuel
  3. if only we could do it here............... now where did i put my keys
  4. nah min. youve heard the saying ' good cop, bad cop ' my money is on her being the good cop lol

  10. farmers son by birth till i was 18 then went out to find my fame and fortune, and im still fekking looking for it. at the present im a plant operator, no i do not wear scrubs and amputate flowers or fix broken leafes. work mainly in aberdeen or surrounding area driving diggers from 3cx, ' ducks' up to 50t slew tracked machines. i also do some bouncing at the weekends for some extra play pennies
  11. £20 and a photo??????? must be bad if they have to bribe a photo give away with a 20 quid
  12. had the same problem last year with a wife / goat exchange.. also said not as advertized so wanted the 3 goats back and a camel in compensation. . bugger. was going to deal the goats for yaks then deal them for some tyres for the scooby........
  13. yep its leary enough now at 300 brake. but it can never be too leary...............
  14. at the last r r i was told it was over fuling up to 5k rpm then started to run lean. so i have a walbro 255 and the 440s to go on but need it remaped for that. so just waiting for a apexi to come up then will fit them all and get her done
  15. it will pass. i have a very good local garage scooby friendly if you know what imean
  16. having just fitted one of these ...... and even when the bonnets shut ... question is what should the fuel pressure be as its sitting at 48psi on the standard fuel pump.
  17. that dreaded time of year again. tho i try to keep on top of things thru the year its looks like i have cured a on going problem. the rear o/s wheel has sometimes scuffed the arch but as i had good set of kybs adjustables on did not think it was a suspension problem. wrong when i was checking the ra over i noticed the rear shock is damp so must have a weak one. good excuse to put on the tein coil overs now. think i will also change the drop links too. other htan that it all looks good for the test so watch this space for expetives or jubilation in the next few weeks, as work and cash are limiting time and bits at the mo :)
  18. can i just have the cash. heard to much about steve and at my age (41) dont think im ready for mthose kinda sights

  20. hang on is this a prize or a conserlation?
  21. been wondering about this too. after rebuilding my box and re installing it i noticed after i bolted box together that one of the linkages was jammed up in the bush pulled it all out then noticed that the lever inside has a hell of a play now. so either new bush or a quick shift now i think
