if it was me I would re-map. one to get the most out of your better breathing and two to stop any over boosting or anything like that :) but if you are getting the re-map it may be best to think what else you may do in the future and trying to combine it all together to save re-re-mapping down the line. (trust me, Mines in for its third re-map :') )

Seeing Dave's lovely car yesterday as persuaded me to upgrade :3! well that and being overtaken by a A45 AMG Merc ¬¬ if i had that turbo it would'nt have happened haha! Booked to be in, in 2 weeks from today :D

You can normally get rid of the Up pipe cat with no MOT Issues, aftermarket sports cats remember you need them hot for them to work well and pass the MOT, if you were to do any i would say the Up-Pipe (get a decat one from the STI), its a bigger job to get it fitted as it means taking out the turbo (Probably £160 fitting cost) but will give good response different, also it can be an issue if they disintegrate the cat inside goes through your turbo and ruins it.

When i get up to 120mph (On the track) my car makes a squealing noise, like something is rubbing or there is some fast flowing wind whistling but it only starts around 120, 125. sounds like its coming from my wheel area, any ideas?? not the kind of speed you want something to go wrong at. May be worth looking at what you would need to get to 450 HP http://www.racedynamix.co.uk/remap/subaru-remapping/typical-upgrade-path-newage-2-0-sti/ The above link gives a good rule of thumb Just weather the cost saving is worth the difference in breaks, 6 speed transmission, some stronger parts, bigger top mount, bigger turbo and so on. but on the plus STI parts are normally avaliable if you find someone breaking up an STI, or if you could find yourself a doner STI ? All depends on what you can get for what price

Hello all, I recently put some 25mm wheel spacers on my 03 impreza blob eye, looks amazing but... if i hit a bump or go to fast around a corner they make a horrible sound as they are hitting the wheel arch, is there anything i can do that isnt spending £600 on a full set of coilovers? Thanks in advance :)
