Buying standard was also the best thing I ever did. You get to put your own stamp on her now. Keep us updated on how you get on with the exhaust. I know you seen mine now [emoji12]

My Subaru Impreza 2000 UK Story
Nice story so far. I'm looking forward to future mods. How did you find changing the dash lights? Mine are really dim at night so if I freshen up I may change the colour too.

Boost gauge/gauge pod help
I checked depo website they only show the boost/oil pressure gauge at minute. Does sound like a job for my mechanic though. Sounds like hassle for me. I'm fine with bolt on but anything more and I get worried I'll break something or misplace/damage it.

Boost gauge/gauge pod help
How hard are all the sensors to fit for oil pressure/temp? From what I've heard the water needs a seperste sensor in top rad pipe?

Boost gauge/gauge pod help
That's a smart gauge. All in one set-up. Do you have a video or a link of that working. I want one gauge ideally but want oil pressure and boost so this is ideal for a pillar pod.

hi all
I use the tapatalk app so they're all orange to me. Try this: http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1619-Help-Check-Guide-Buying-1st-Subaru I think that's right.

hi all
I'm not so up to savvy on new age cars but as savage said, get on that guide and have a good read up. Get all your questions ready for your viewing and don't be worried about asking the wrong question. It's a lot of money to hand over. The garage may even offer a type of warrantee.

Possibly a breather pipe? Have a look on www.importcarparts.co.uk for your service bits. Unbeatable service from the guys there. They're also on eBay.

hi all
My car is a year older and on 162000 miles. Don't let that put you off. It is dependent on how they're maintained. Price seems a bit steep for that year car?

A lot of guys use gates or dayco belts. There's always cosworth it want a real heavy duty belt. If the belt has never been changed I'd suggest you change all pulleys and tensioners at the same time. Even the water pump as the belt has to come off to change that. As for your smoke it could be water or oil dripping onto the manifold causing steam. At 50mph you won't see it because it's getting blown away too quick. Keep an eagle eye on your levels and try to find it soon.

hi all
What would you like to know. I'll try my best to help. Failing that I'll pretend to know while asking somebody else [emoji1]
