I never been a fan of bt. After I realised "bt line" didn't mean phone service from bt(I was young) I left and haven't looked back. It's a shame they have you by the short and curlys there.
I was out of it last night so didnt make it on. I'm about to go out for the first Kent meet then I'll be on for the evening.
I was going to go for the walbro but after the stories I heard I'd rather pay the extra money to protect my engine.
When I was researching I found that most of the complaints about the walbro were that under load and high demand from the engine(high in rev range) the walbro would drop a lot of its pressure delivery. There was just too many horror stories for my liking.
If you're going for a larger turbo then you're definitely going to want to make sure the fuel pressure stays strong after 4-5k rpm.
What system do you have now? I know it comes down to size as well but I work on a two box policy(in my head*) seems to work for me at the minute.
*I'm in no way an exhaust specialist and this advice is not to be used as fact.*[emoji15]
I would highly recommend rcm. Ordered my pump at 6:30pm and it arrived 8:30am next day.
I was then speaking to Olly for a while through email and he comes across very polite and he couldn't do enough to help me.
Thanks savage. Did you have a remap on that too?
I went for a cosworth panel in the end. In my head I have 270 as a hopeful figure and considering how well she did already I think that's achievable. I'd hope to get the power to come in a little earlier but the torque is nice and flat and the dyno fella commented saying it was a nice strong torque line. [emoji4] [emoji1]
Don't worry about the lady or the baby! My excuse to get a scoob was we needed a family car [emoji57] my boy is two in June now and he loves going out in the car.
I suppose the biggest obstacle is hiding the parts.
I've heard different things about dump valves. Some cars seem to like them and others won't run right with them.
Well, a massive thank you to Roger Clarke Motosport. I ordered my fuel pump last night at 6:30 and its at my door by 8:30 this morning. Unbelievable turn around.
Now I have to wait for the cover gasket to arrive from the states [emoji38]
