Couldn't agree more Gambit. I had a 106 with a massive rude boy exhaust come racing past me on a dual carriageway. It was screaming [emoji1] They'll be telling all their friends how they totally destroyed a scooby in a race.

When I joined I had some problem with authentication. Even after clicking the email link I was trapped in limbo. I couldn't even pm anyone.

Basically which systems fit which cars? For example will a hawk eye cat back fit a classic. Looking to swap my exhaust as stated in my other topic but I need to gain a bit of experience in what works. It will increase my chances of finding a system if they all overlap. Thanks in advance.

I'll be on through the week. I think the issue is some people don't like to or can't tune cars. I'm real picky with my tunes. I find it hard to race a car that I haven't tinkered with. It's just personal preference. Rather than everyone having an individual tune that may allow advantages it'd make sense if we didn't allow fine tuning and only made the cars even by small mods. Not sure what the standard will be yet but I'm open to anything. Just want to get the season going now [emoji4]

If you reduce the weight it'll make them too light it'll struggle for grip. Even with race tyres.

Rather than doing pi this time I matched power close and got the top speeds 0-60 and 0-100 times within a certain parameter. Weights are different though.

I'll give Duncan a call and see what experience he has had mapping the cars with difference diamiter exhaust. Decat will eliminate a fair bit of lag too?

When it comes to tuning the power I'll keep an eye on 0-60/0-100 times and top speed. If they all match close together I think that's a good base.

Ok later I'll put some tunes up that are just tyres and possibly power tunes to the lower rates cars if needed. No suspension ogle brakes. Anything that allows tinkering will be off limits. Not even a lsd

I think you're right dog. This whole tune fiasco is making it more difficult to set up. If there's no upgrades then there is no tuning. That way there's no right or wrong car. No personal preference or advantages. If we need to tweak one car because it's pi is lower then let the individual tune it up to c class. Means there is less possiblity for major advantages with tunes. Gambit you're right. We have until Sunday before the rules need to be set and finalised. We had a practice but that didn't clear anything up. If nothing can be decided about tunes I'd agree with dog again and say bin them off. If a cars pi is 400/500/600 then they will be competitive despite who they're tuned by. My tunes carry less power and more grip gambits tunes have more power less grip. In my eyes that's equal and fair. I don't mind being taken on a straight because I can make it back up on a corner. Spewed a lot of words not sure if any of it makes much sense to be honest. Final thoughts basically Gambit, you organised it so your word is final.
