  1. Hmm I did paste it in. Does it take them out? I'll try again
  2. Not sure if any of you have seen this but I thought I'd share it http://youtu.be/oDAFPDqQ7Yk I don't think he intended it to happen but it was good control by the end. New pants please [emoji28]
  3. Signed. I live close the brands hatch. I'd hate to "hear" anything change.
  4. I suppose it would mean messing about with a lot of wiring too. I like to let the idle drop but even then I keep it between 2000/2500rpm until I feel really sure I'm up to temp. The temp gauge doesn't count.
  5. I'm the same. I always let it warm right up and even then give it more of a relaxed drive before engaging the "F###ing hell" system. When I finish I normally get all my bits together and if I'm using the boot get it all out while leaving it running as a cool down. Would you guys recommend a turbo timer instead? My old impreza had one that you could lock the car and it'd still run. It was linked to the handbrake so even if someone got in it the engine would cut out after handbrake was dropped.
  6. I messaged him for a giggle and he reckons he has the full log book and he took it in as part ex
  7. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=221650668443&alt=web Resurfaced on eBay? I think it's the same car. Old gumtree link is down.
  8. The bulb was exactly the same as the old one. It would only go in one way. My lil sis had one go on her car so I pinched the other bulb in the pack.
  9. Hi guys. I had a brake light out so I changed it but now the bulb is constantly on. I'm guessing there's a bad earth somewhere so if anyone can help me by telling me where it is I can get cracking. Cheers
  10. I had a quick search if the forum but couldn't find an answer for this. After finding a hole in my radiator, my new one arrived last night. Now I want to avoid under filling and airlocks so exactly how much coolant does the car take? header tank and overflow Thank you
  11. The drop down menu at the top was confusing at first. I just subscribe to most of the threads now and it pops up.
  12. I only just started using it so it seems easy to use for me.
  13. Has it got a type ra sticker on the back? those seats from a later sti?
  14. I'd be questioning it myself. Seems almost to good to be true. Could check it for cat c/d
  15. Unfortunately because it's an import my check won't show up what it is. I think if you check the number under the bonnet it will tell you what it is. That's as far as my knowledge goes I'm afraid.
  16. I believe that is an import. I did a quick number plate check.
  17. Mines being changed next Sunday because I found a tiny pin prick hole on my rad [emoji35] Only found it because I see a bit of steam. It was only leaking when the engine was up to 3000/3500 rpm and I was driving steady on the way home. Checked levels and doesn't seem to have dropped levels by much.
  18. Same as Steve. My mechanic refuses anything bar red coolant. He says it's to do with the ally inside the engine. It's all over my head at that point.
  19. I didn't have any fresh pictures when I introduced myself to the forum so hear they are. Once the new year kicks in and the celebrations are done I'll be working out my upgrade path. So far with what I've been advised I'll go for a sports cat and cat back ss exhaust. I want to put a better fuel pump on the car but I'm not sure when to do it before map or the day before map. I'll get a better panel filter ready(any recommendations?) And try to book myself in for a remap with Duncan. With my ideas I dont want mega power just a better/smoother delivery. Better economy if possible but not necessary. As for suspension components it does feel pretty solid as now but if the opportunity arises I'll get some coilovers. I don't want it slammed to the floor just make her a little more stable around the bends. don't know of you guys recommend a different size wheel and tyre because I still have original 16" wheels on. With all this I'm open to any ideas your expertise can bring and I'll value any input and advice you can offer.
  20. Went out for a run to shopping centre for the obligatory exchange/return of gifts.
  21. Hi. Welcome. I'm new here myself. Also from Kent.
  22. I'd be worried if it did start snowing on your sofa.
  23. Where is everyone located? Unless there's a thread for that. I'm still learning [emoji12]
