Unless you remove your stock air filter you will absolutely zero gain just strapping a cone on the end there. Just double filtered air [emoji5]

I'm 50/50 on black or gold for my silver classic. Did Gaulson Photoshop you some colours?

Black smoke under load would suggest over fueling. Has it been modified in anyway?

From what I can see its just the first part of the scoop. The air filter sits right at the back.

Ok I'll have a dig tommorow and let you know. They were fine last time used. I bought an engine that only had 3 coils so ended up with 3 as spares.

I think I still have 3 old coil packs in my shed. Want me to fish em out? They're off a L reg jdm I had a few years back.

I want to start off by thanking everyone that came today. It wouldn't be a meet without you all. We had a little convoy from Medway up to Bluewater to meet with Del. There's no feeling compared to checking your rear view and seeing a convoy of subarus. Once we got to del it all changed as for some reason we all split up and scattered [emoji1] [emoji1] [emoji1] we finally relocated everyone and headed to the meet. Quick little blast down the dual carriageway followed by my clear perfect use of the synchro in 2nd gear(Thanks Del for letting me live that down) we got to the pub in good time and had a good chat. This was one of the best meets I'd ever been too and I'm hoping we continue with such a great turnout. I loved seeing the out back too. Thanks Pat. Don't see many of those but that was a fine example. Hope to see you all next month! Pics of the meet.

Have a Google search of all the options. That what I did.

Roger Clarke fuel pump fitted today. Nice and easy job really. Ran into one issue; my old pump had a blue and black wire running from the pumps feed which went to a black box/relay. Made a phone call to my mechanic and he suggested it may be a pressure regulator. Regardless I went on to use the old wiring instead of the new plug rcm supplied. All back together and turn of the key...fired up perfectly. Not to suggest the pump would be faulty but more my clumsy sausage fingers breaking something. Let her warm up and went for a spirited drive up the dual carriageway and she runs beautifully. Now just a tense wait for 11th when the decat goes on and the 16th with Duncan!

Success. Pump on and working!

Hmm. I've had to slightly bend the bottom bracket down a couple mm but the two metal parts are touching.
