Just wondering if anyone knows if the hatchback bonnets are different on the wrx and sti? I know changing the scoop is a common mod on the older wrx's I have been offered a few parts from a crashed STI but its to far to go have a look.

Hi, I am not sure but, downpipe and exhaust will help de-cat or down to single sports cat then a remap should see some power gains. Not sure if you will need to change the turbo. I have a wrx so the list for that is exhaust, turbo, fuel pump, injectors and remap So the sti starts out with more power so should just need a few improvements. I know you will get 350+ without to much work but it's getting into the 400's that might be costly. But I am no expert.... One should be along soon. -- I make Films and Website for people

Not sure but looked into it before from what I remember there is no real difference in terms of how the car runs it just gives it a better chance of a reliable spark as there is more sparks but it will still only ignite once. -- I make Films and Website for people

I have seen a really nice 2 camera set up for £200 the cameras are really small as they use a control box in the glove box to record to so will be getting one I think once I get a few invoices paid. Got the bumper fitted back on after the tow truck popped it out and the garage said it will not go back, Wasn't hard just needed some force. I also got the splitter back in one peace again after the tow truck snapped it. Just needs some filler but will do for now.

Thanks look like the best option from them. Might be worth spending a little bit more. I guess it's one of those things once you have the piping in place you can upgrade the catch can very easily. However I like the look of there more expensive option. I know Perrin has a very expensive one that looks good more might be more than I want to spend. I had a forester when my wrx was being worked on. Not a bad car but just not the same, I guess if they make one with more power than the diesel I had could be ok but just wasn't the same fun to drive but 45mpg was nice. -- I make Films and Website for people

Not looking to spend loads so under £100 would be nice but would rather pay more than get something that won't do the job. Also API didn't do the work in the end as Subaru wanted to do it themselves so it was done by a subaru dealer. Thanks Alex

Hi guys, So finally got the car back after having the short block replaced, pistons and so on this has lead me down the path of wanting to keep everything as nice as possible as the car is a keeper after all the work.
