Yup we are looking at the justy option also and possible mods just to sort the really soft suspension etc

Wotcha and welcome - currently going through exactly the same exercise with my 15yr old - Insurance is the issue - anything with a turbo will just be a no point exercise. What we have found is the later sharkeye hatch 1.5r is either a 4 or 14 group dependant on who you are talking to so smaller engine UK model etc means you may be closer to getting cover at 17. Only problem is at this point you are looking at about 4k for one but I imagine in 2 years time that may have dropped a little. So between now and then spend teh time on the phone with brokers - online stuff will give you a start but a specialist is where you are likely to get something in place

its not just yours mine is like that also - will keep you all posted as to when funds allow progress - have found a rolling road local to me so just got to sort a day and an appropriate tuner / investigate this 'package' mentioned in the legacy thread

Looking into this myself - i would suggest a strut brace to stop front end movement possibly a remap for most efficiency and a high flow exhaust - much as I know so far bu I have auto so slightly different challenges

That was supposed to read 28 / 29 mpg - dont know what happened

My auto rx gets 28\29 urban mpg not bad it on a run yet but i believe with a remap it will get more as the box changes and associated revs are quite high

The sump rusting through is typical of a jap car not leaking oil like a lot of other manufacturers. My nissan suffered the same thing

yup keep an eye for an engine - one will pop up

havent tried the BP in mine yet, mpg has dropped from 28/29 - 24/25 with the aircon on last couple of weeks
