  1. Thanks for the help guys. My car is going into Subary4You on Saturday so i will ask them which one to go for. I have been looking at the Turbo Smart Hybrid.
  2. I know that the Impreza's run poorly with a atmospheric dump valve (HKS SSQ for example), however has anyone upgraded to an aftermarket recirculation valve? If so did the car run ok and what brand did you go for? I am intending on increasing the performance on my WRX (Cat-back exhaust, remap and potentially Cobb induction kit). Thanks Tim

  5. How can I find out what "code" my Impreza is? I have been looking on eBay and there seems to be numerous codes for Impreza hatchbacks. Back in the day it was easy EP82 was the start of the chassis code on a Mk1 Starlet GTT so they were knicknamed EP82's however my chassis code doesnt appear to be either GH or GRB. I want to make sure i order the right parts so can anyone help???

  8. Are these not like the Green/Pipercross/K&N which run for miles rather than need changing every service? Reason I have two is I got one and misses brought me one so technically have one I don't yet need! Anyway few pics if anyone needs one! I can always buy another in 10k time ha ha

  13. I am torn between the Hayward & Scott and the Invidia N1 Titanium. Both are Cat backs but can't see any reviews!
  14. I think I won't bother! I was looking at the Forge recirc valve but if the OEM one is ideal I won't bother! Think I will stick to getting new wheels and coilovers! Is it true ET48 wheels fit the hatch?
  15. Sorry to hijack this thread but does the STi exhaust fit on a normal WRX? Looking to get a Blitz or Hayward & Scott but can only see listing for STI's!
  16. I have now owned my Impreza hatch for 3 weeks now and i must say every day i get more impressed by it. I do on average 70 miles a day and its quiet, comfortable and obviously has that bit of poke when you get some moron on your bottom! I am averaging 26.4mpg which is a lot less than my Fiesta Zebec S Tdci but hey its far more enjoyable to drive! Trust me you won't regret getting one!

  19. I agree with the alloys comment. Mine have completely corroded which is common I believe on Japanese Cars ... it happended on my Lexus. I was think of just getting my ones refurb'd and painted gold as the Prodrive GT1's are £1350 with tyres :(
  20. So I have just brought a WRX hatch and I was thinking of modifying it but tastefully. What do most people start with handling or performance? On the subject of performance I have seen some videos on Youtube and threads on US Subaru forum's that advise against BOV's and Dump Valves as they tend to make the car run poorly. Is this true? I have owned a Starlet GT Turbo previously and the BOV didnt cause any issues. Thanks Tim

  22. Thanks you. The Subaru needs some minor TLC as the last owner hasnt looked after it however I am off to Subaru4you on the 17th for a full service and to get rid of the annoying squeek which i fear is the aux drive belt. The Imp has been a huge transformation in the last 5 years and we are on the final stages now. Only paint, testing and interior fix and then she's done ready for her mag feature in June.
