  1. I am really struggling to work out what to get my my car and I have a very long wish list which obviously my budget cant stretch to. I have £4600 budgeted to spend on the car in July but the parts I want are too expensive to get the lot. List is: Prodrive GT1 Wheels Invidia N1 Street Exhaust KSport/D2 8 Pot Kit Rear Discs and Pads Stage 3 Handling Kit HKS SSQV Carbon Spoiler Carbon Splitter Carbon bonnet scoop insert Remap Injen Decat What would you guys do? I really want the wheels so thats a must but what else should I go for??
  2. I used to arrange the Hampshire meets for Toyota GTT Club and I always got good reception. I will stick with it so have no fear Timmy is here!!!
  3. Well this is dissapointing!! :( :( :(
  4. I have only heard good things about BC so thats my personal option.
  5. Im sure Demon Tweeks stock the Wilwood's but not for car specific. Think im just going to stick to the K-Sports
  6. Glanza = Willwood Starlet GTT = D2 No ideas why the split was always like this!!
  7. This is what I thought?! I spoke to Subaru4You and they rate them but Sumo Power has told me to stay away from them. I dont want to spend £1k on brakes if they are rubbish!
  8. I am getting mixed reviews on KSport brake kits. Has anyone on here ever used them on a WRX? I am looking to change the nasty 2 pots and these seemed pretty reasonable however if they are pants I wont bother getting them!
  9. No its rear engined rwd with a 1.6litre engine estimated 125bhp @ 600kg
  10. So after almost 6 years of ownership my Imp aka Hilda has been painted! The colour is Aquarious Blue and is a Hillman (and this shells) original colour. Its going to look fantastic with the gold minilites and carbon bib spoiler!
  11. Going for the resonated as the reviews on the non-resonated are not so good and makes driving unbearable!
  12. Hi Alex, Tarmac Sportz can import direct from the states and they have some great systems on their site: http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/products.aspx?CategoryId=13298612-9b1d-4827-8a4b-8455c28e3ed3 I will get Subaru4You to fit it for me when thye do the handling and brakes. I will let you know about the N1 but i am expecting great things from it!
  13. Most of the work being done in June/July as I am hoping to then get the interior up to scratch in the winter,
  14. Looks like the Invidia N1 "Street" is going to be the chosen one. This is resonated and if I dont change the CAT i should be fine with the tone.
  15. I have used Lamin-X previously but it would appear they dont sock them in UK any more
  16. Just a bit out of price price range now I have decided for the Invidia N1
  17. Thought I would share some pictures of my recently purchased WRX. So far the only modifications is a Cosworth panel filter but in the very near future I am looking to add the following: Engine: Catback exhaust (Invidia/H&W/Cobra?) Cobra Decat Subaru4You Remap HKS SSQ (with purple insert) Wheels/Suspension/Brakes: Prodrive GT1 (Gold) alloy wheels Performance Handling Pach Stage 3 (Whiteline ARB's/BC Coilovers) K Sport 6pot front brake upgrade Exterior: Zunsport Grille (Black) top and bottom Carbon splitter Carbon fin spoiler STI Style spoiler Anyway enjoy!
  18. Tarmac Sportz seem to be able to get hold of them and at £611 inc delivery doesnt seem too bad however i have heard mix reviews about them mainly being way too loud! As this is my daily I dont want to get something that is going to make driving unbearable on long distances but I want one to bring out the roar. The cheapest system is the Cobra but the videos on YouTube are dreadful and you cant get an idea of the sound.
  19. Im currently getting 25.8 on average. This is a mix of dual carriageway and B roads.
  20. Do you do yellow fog covers for the WRX hatch?
  21. timmyjk7 replied to scoobyranger's topic in Junk Room
The only car i have ever named is my Hillman Imp which is known as Hilda!
  22. It would be really good if we could arrange a local meet in the Portsmouth/Waterlooville/Petersfield area. Anyone fancy it??
  23. Regional County/Borough/District: Portsmouth, Hampshire Car Model: 2008 Impreza WRX (Hatchback) Any Mods: Current - Cosworth Panel Filter Planned - Prodrive GT1 Gold Alloys, HKS SSQ DV, Invidia N1 Street Exhaust, K Sport 6-Pot Brake (Front) Conversion, Carbon Splitter, Zunsport Grill, Subaru4You Remap Picture:
  24. Thats a surprise as I have recently fitted one and I noticed straight away that it felt better.
  25. I am looking to bin the old tired exhaust currently on my car and I have no idea which system to go for. I have been looking at these: Invidia N1 Race Invidia N1 Street Hayward & Scott. I dont want it too loud as its my daily and spend upto 1 hour driving but i want something to release that special Subaru burble. What would people recommend?
