  1. I had a bit of an accident over the weekend and got a bit carried away flicking it down to block that shinny yellow ball in the sky and i managed to break it...Yes I am the Hulk!!!!! Anyway does anyone have a spare sun visor including the bracket for a 2008 WRX Hatch kicking about? I tried the usual places yesterday (eBay/Breakers etc.) but no one has one for the hatch. Thanks Guys and Gals! Tim
  2. I notice your in Aldershot.... I work in Cody Tech Park up the road from you. Be good to meet up and see another Hatch owner!!
  3. Im booking a track day to take the Imp and the Scoob is the support car so i will give it a lap or two to see if the mods have worked
  4. I broke the drivers sun visor!!
  5. Going 356mm D2's all round, Whiteline ARB's, Prodrive 18" GT1 alloys, BC coilovers hopefully I will notice the difference.
  6. Thanks guys I have decided that im going to take your advice on board and stick to the brakes and suspension so going to get it booked in for end of June.
  7. Im certianly not going to cut corners but i cant afford to get everything done at once so im asking which bits should i do first.
  8. The handling kit comes with the BC coilovers and whiteline ARB's/bushes but at £1150 its the killer! I have a cosworth panel filter so its starting to breathe better. I could run a cheaper system (Hayward & Scott or Cobra) but they arent in the style I wanted. With regards to brakes, K-Sports cant stock my requirements so its going to be D2 which is now killing this budget!!! GGRRRRR too hard to decide!
  9. I am really struggling to work out what to get my my car and I have a very long wish list which obviously my budget cant stretch to. I have £4600 budgeted to spend on the car in July but the parts I want are too expensive to get the lot. List is: Prodrive GT1 Wheels Invidia N1 Street Exhaust KSport/D2 8 Pot Kit Rear Discs and Pads Stage 3 Handling Kit HKS SSQV Carbon Spoiler Carbon Splitter Carbon bonnet scoop insert Remap Injen Decat What would you guys do? I really want the wheels so thats a must but what else should I go for??
  10. I used to arrange the Hampshire meets for Toyota GTT Club and I always got good reception. I will stick with it so have no fear Timmy is here!!!
  11. Well this is dissapointing!! :( :( :(
  12. I have only heard good things about BC so thats my personal option.
  13. Im sure Demon Tweeks stock the Wilwood's but not for car specific. Think im just going to stick to the K-Sports
  14. Glanza = Willwood Starlet GTT = D2 No ideas why the split was always like this!!
  15. This is what I thought?! I spoke to Subaru4You and they rate them but Sumo Power has told me to stay away from them. I dont want to spend £1k on brakes if they are rubbish!
  16. I am getting mixed reviews on KSport brake kits. Has anyone on here ever used them on a WRX? I am looking to change the nasty 2 pots and these seemed pretty reasonable however if they are pants I wont bother getting them!
  17. No its rear engined rwd with a 1.6litre engine estimated 125bhp @ 600kg
  18. So after almost 6 years of ownership my Imp aka Hilda has been painted! The colour is Aquarious Blue and is a Hillman (and this shells) original colour. Its going to look fantastic with the gold minilites and carbon bib spoiler!
  19. Going for the resonated as the reviews on the non-resonated are not so good and makes driving unbearable!
  20. Hi Alex, Tarmac Sportz can import direct from the states and they have some great systems on their site: http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/products.aspx?CategoryId=13298612-9b1d-4827-8a4b-8455c28e3ed3 I will get Subaru4You to fit it for me when thye do the handling and brakes. I will let you know about the N1 but i am expecting great things from it!
  21. Most of the work being done in June/July as I am hoping to then get the interior up to scratch in the winter,
  22. Looks like the Invidia N1 "Street" is going to be the chosen one. This is resonated and if I dont change the CAT i should be fine with the tone.
  23. I have used Lamin-X previously but it would appear they dont sock them in UK any more
  24. Just a bit out of price price range now I have decided for the Invidia N1
  25. Thought I would share some pictures of my recently purchased WRX. So far the only modifications is a Cosworth panel filter but in the very near future I am looking to add the following: Engine: Catback exhaust (Invidia/H&W/Cobra?) Cobra Decat Subaru4You Remap HKS SSQ (with purple insert) Wheels/Suspension/Brakes: Prodrive GT1 (Gold) alloy wheels Performance Handling Pach Stage 3 (Whiteline ARB's/BC Coilovers) K Sport 6pot front brake upgrade Exterior: Zunsport Grille (Black) top and bottom Carbon splitter Carbon fin spoiler STI Style spoiler Anyway enjoy!
