My car just started doing this.......
Speedo stopped working from 0-20mph but 20+ is fine no problems?
It's cutting out too, but think it might be a low idle speed...... But read on google it could be a split speedo cable? But this was for another car/manufacturer.......
Thoughts?

Will give her a quick once over after lunch ready in time for tomorrow - will be good...........
Weather is looking cooler for tomorrow with a 40% chance of rain between 9-10am so we'll be ok.....

Drivers side as in that window or all windows from that switch? If it's the latter then might be worth spraying a bit of electrical cleaner on it and working the switch a bit to clean the contacts. With the car off of course and wait for the cleaner to evaporate before trying the switch.
Yes it's the latter, I'll give that ago before buying another switch panel.

My electric window switch on my Scooby STI '94 Classic is playing up, just on my drivers one.....
To get it to work I have to turn the car off and on again, it will work once, then stops working again, turn the car off and on, then it works once again???
Any ideas???

Cheers guys for all the advice and tips..... I'll go and spend a few pennies and see what happens!!

I used to use 3m tyre restorer....found it worked quite well on black plastics and you don't need to use much. Came in a trigger bottle and just sprayed into a microfibre before applying, then leave for 2 mins then wipe off any excess with a clean microfibre

Good man, thanks for the advice..... Forgot about 3M stuff

Don't get the stuff with silicone in it as I find it runs and lifts the wax/polish off
Thanks mate, don't want to be doing that then.

Can't remember what the autoglym stuff is called but the label is green and it says it's for plastic trim on the bottle bud

I 2nd the auto glym stuff... it's a thick green goo that works really well!
Thanks.. Is that the Auto Glyn rubber cleaner?? I'll go and grab some today at some point

Good old eBay!!!! Lol
Worth a shout then, if there's time Friday will help ya out......
I've had other Toys in the past from Fast road/track bikes to Mk2 Escorts.... Now the Scooby STI.
Boys and there toys!!! Lol
-
Yea sounds gd.
Count me in I will be in a silver wagon completley standard.
Aint had time to sort it out yet only having it 2 weeks. But I will get there. New exhaust first last bloke bodged it up a bit as it's barley together at the cat.
I've spotted a full japspeed manifold. Decat and end can for £200 seems pretty cheap. Is this a decent setup. For the money.
Any recommendations appreciated
Thanks Matt
Good man...... Not good on the exhaust is the £200 a new one?? I guess not at that price? As a down pipe for mine is nearly £150 just for that, but it's a performance one, Scooby world / Scooby parts are good sites to check out........

Tyre paint ?
I'll try that too..... Thanks for the advice

It was a quick get together, but car park is big enough for loads of cars has a cafe and loos and it's great views too!! (Not just the cars) lol
Could turn it into a monthly meeting point if we had the interest, Friday's is when we go down at the mo!! A nice drive after a long week to chill out before the weekend!!
